The view of the FANCIER tripod and the review itself especially for Radozhiva, prepared Anton Yastremsky.
Greetings to all readers of Radozhiva and photography enthusiasts. I wanted to share with you my impressions of the FANCIER video tripod.
The company is Chinese, respectively, and the tripod is assembled there. FANCIER itself is positioning its creation as a professional video tripod for large cameras. The price is pleasant for such a tripod (on average 11000 rubles). I took it for comfortable work, because I need smooth 'wiring' without the slightest 'stir'. I will say right away that the tripod is heavy, weighing 3.6 kg. You can't really drag him around.
The kit includes the FC-02H video head, ET-75 tripod, MS-01 extension and SC-4 wardrobe trunks. And the whole set is called FC – 270A.
I'll start with the head.
The head and the 'legs' themselves are of course made of metal. A certain alloy of aluminum. On the left side there are 2 horizontal and vertical scrolling locking knobs, as well as a button for removing the pad.
On the right are the padlock and counterbalance management.
By the way, counterbalancing works worse with light cameras than with more massive ones. Who does not know what it is, I will explain: this function of saving and returning the camera to a given position. In this case, in a vertical orientation. Although I will say, putting my hand on my heart, this is not implemented in the best way here.
To control a massive head you need a comfortable long handle.
Of course, the handle can be screwed both on the right and on the left and this is done in a few seconds. In addition, it can be set at any angle for more comfortable use.
The handle itself can be extended almost 2 times.
The platform is completely made of metal, with the exception of a rubber coating, so as not to scratch the camera body.
The lock also holds the pad in position. If you turn it off, the platform moves freely in the axis, but does not drop out until you press the corresponding button.
Mounting to a screw-type chamber, i.e. To attach to the camera you need a screwdriver or coin.
The head itself has a non-standard mount on a long pin and therefore standard heads will not work here.
By slightly loosening the screw, you can adjust the correct position by the level that is on the head itself.
True, it is worth saying that a large slope in this way is difficult to achieve.
I really liked the tripod itself. All mounts are made of metal, with a smooth ride and focus.
High-quality metal strut with a smooth ride.
And also, a hook on a spring is hidden in one of the legs for comfortable carrying of a tripod without a cover. So that the legs do not part.
Kofr did not take pictures, because This is an ordinary case. You can throw it on your shoulder or just carry it in your hand like a bag.
Now for the cons.
At this price, they can not be.
All pens on the head are made of plastic. There is no adjustment of the rigidity of movement on both axes, only their blocking. Moreover, the vertical lock is not complete, i.e. even if you hold the handle all the way, you still can’t lean on the handle. At first I thought that this was exclusively my problem, but, as it turned out, this was a technical solution.
Once again I will say about a weak counterbalance. But at least he is here.
The rubber tips of the legs are not enough retractable knitting needles or spikes.
The pad lock rests on the camera. In this position, it is very inconvenient to work with him.
I also read that some users have a slight return effect when posting horizontally. I did not notice this at myself.
In general, I am satisfied with the tripod and there are no special complaints. It’s also possible to take photos from him, but there’s no point in carrying him with you for the sake of the photo.
The height is quite enough: when unfolded, about 160cm comes out.
Thanks for reading. I wish you success.
good tripod
Good review
By the way, yes. The first tripod review on radojiva.com, although the topic is necessary and interesting. THANKS.
I can also build on Benro KH-25.
Or simply (if it is more convenient), write the differences here in the expanded comment.
However, I found another review (https://radojuva.com/2016/01/selens-se-t170-tripod-review/), but some slurred.
Benro KH-25 is 310 grams lighter and structurally more stable, the price is the same ...
Persuaded)
Yes, a little easier.
The main differences are a slightly different head design, there is no counterbalance (more precisely, its adjustment, there is a counter itself), a shorter handle, a more convenient rotation lock (the protrusion on the leg does not interfere), the tilt lock works normally - at maximum clamping, you can lean on the handle.
Clips on the legs of a different design + the legs themselves are somewhat stronger, the blotches on the legs rotate, opening the spikes for installation on the ground.
The site is compatible with narrow Manfrottovsky.
Less comfortable pad retainer (rather tight button in the back). If the structure is bulky (such as a TV camera or DSLR with a full-fledged rig, it is inconvenient to press the latch.
In general, tripods can be said to be equivalent.
PS When the load on the tripod is more than 4,5 kilograms, the legs begin to spring strongly enough, lowering the entire construction by 10 centimeters.
PPS If the lower fixture is released without holding the lower section of the leg, there is a chance that the leg will literally "fly out" from the attachment. Fortunately, this is repaired with a flat screwdriver, a hammer and such and such a mother)
I looked at this tripod. It is almost 5000 rubles more expensive and judging by the reviews with its legs, everything is not going smoothly.
I have been using Benro A3FS1573 video tripod quite intensively for 2 years already. There are no complaints. The ball head is a really necessary thing.
A completely different type of tripod.
Oh, I do not trust such tripods. I suspect that after a while the backlash will appear. And the fix will be fragile.
What do you have in mind? Where is the backlash?
“Attachment to a screw-type camera, ie. you need a screwdriver or coin to attach to the camera. ”
It would be better to remove the hyperlink on the word “screwdriver”, because in the text of this review, we are talking about a conventional mounting tool, and not about an autofocus drive as in the link
I agree. Somehow illogical.
well, not yet a nikon in the meznan ganglion is bitten.
There are also those among us who do not flinch at the word “screwdriver !!!!
Damn you, aki have a lie
You revealed me!
I am Hypnotoad !!
Obey !!!
