    Mikhail-ur!

  • Vladimir

    From this bomb ...
Little people, 500 is not produced for the consumer market. This product is for a narrow circle of pros. Which $ 2000 or $ 3000 bucks - no difference.
The device will find its client, do you really think that idiots actually work in the marketing of this company? It is a fact that they did not ask your authoritative opinion, but they don’t make any weather more or less.

  • David

Well, I just can’t understand those who are outraged by the price or the parameters of the cameras. D5 on paper is just a chic device with awesome features for the professional. And its price is more than adequate. D500 is the gorgeous answer of canon 7d mark 2. True, the latter is worth $ 500. cheaper, but nikon is significantly superior in capabilities. Depending on the budget, he will choose the most suitable for himself.
And I already know which device I will buy in the future in addition to my d750.

  • Maugli

And I understood why so many indignations! Nikon with a long delay, when no one already believed, but nevertheless presented his professional crop. And it turned out to be very good: not very large (by modern standards) number of pixels, the latest autofocus from D5 with enchanting frame coverage, 10 fps with infinite buffer, 1/8000 no one can live without! Professional housing with professional ergonomics, a rotary touch screen, wireless capabilities and much more. But bad luck, 2000 cu! And comrades spit bile. And the camera, in fact, is the perfect crop from Nikon.

    • Lynx

there is no trade union - no protection is declared at all ..
      work only 0-40C - ridiculous.
10 fps with an infinite buffer - who doesn't have it anymore?
enchanting coverage of the frame area? - tell the mirrorless cameras, they will laugh at you.
With the "wireless capabilities of Nikon" and their glitchiness, too, for a long time already everyone - who laughs and who cries.
It's very simple - Nikon was several years late with this model.

      • Gene jb

I don’t understand the dialogues at all. Well, yes, expensive guano with enchantingly outdated features. where for example phase focus in LiveView? where are the latest revolutionary matrices? sad as it is expensive.

        • Lynx

well, the dialogues are generally “let's kick it off”, don't take them too seriously.
Although, in every hospital duck ...
I don’t know about the phase on live view, it would greatly increase the cost of the system, and contrasting is currently quite good for certain purposes.
          ……
but with matrices, I think everyone is not easy. CMOC in general somehow apparently rested on development and reached its maximum in a revolutionary form, and in an evolutionary one - well, you can play a little more. New matrices are sooooo much work.

          • Gene jb

            70D phase on life view.

  • David

Oh, here's the thing ... exclusively in 2 pieces of greenery! Is it expensive for a professional tool !? The problem is that hamsters perceive the camera as a hobby. Nikon has released these two cameras for people who make a living from professional photography (not wedding photography).

    • Lynx

um .. how to tell you. for two bucks there are a bunch of other options.

    • Lynx

By the way, 2000 bucks is only semi-amateur d500. Five costs about 7-8, if not mistaken.

  • David

Frankly speaking, I see only two schools in the cameras:
    - in the d500, the rotary screen system is not very convenient (I have a d750, I know what I'm talking about)
    - in d5 for $ 6500, the wi-fi module can be built-in. it's not that expensive

    • Basil

In kenon even in 6d there is a built-in wi-fi module. Nikon is gasped with greed!

      • David

in d750 nikon stuck the wi-fi module. that's just the software suitable for the smartphone they could not write

  • Basil

D500 is our answer to Semyon? It is understood that the long-awaited replacement d300s came out?

  • Basil

Arkady, but why don’t you switch to d810?

    • Arkady Shapoval

Yes, I was waiting for d5

      • Jury

By the summer there will be a review of his own, new D5, from Arkady

        • zengarden

If visitors throw themselves on a new camera, I think Arkady will not mind;)

      • Lynx

approve! it remains to sell the D40 so that it is just enough for d5. )))

      • Oleg

The question is not correct. It’s just right for Arkady to ask the question: why don’t you switch to Mark-3?

        • Lynx

          what nonsense .. because 5> 3!

          • Oleg

!!!. Yes, humor Lynx doesn’t leave you

            • Lynx

Why do jesters die? - from resentment, loop and sarcoma,
From a knife, from the contempt of acquaintances,
From the darkness that fell from heaven.
Why do jesters die? - from the blind attention of fortune
Nerves are breaking like decrepit strings
              Torn life rotten canvases.

Why do jesters die? - from deadly poison in kefir,
From melancholy, from bodyagi on air,
From cattle who switched to "you".
Because the flowers have faded, because it's getting late
              Extend yourself. Dying seriously -
Forehead in sawdust as stars fall.
Do they live? - But they live like jesters.

  • Peter Sh.

If the D500 has an acceptable quality at ISO 6400, then everything will be taken apart, for a reporter 2 thousand per camera is not money. It only lasts for 2-3 years.

  • anonym

What to argue time will judge.
But my IMHO is that now the market "stood up" and not only on DSLRs, but in general in all directions, except for food. So all these new items are for Russia.

  • anonym

Hey, not satisfied, you thought Nikon marketers are studying the opinions and wishes of such specialists as Radozhiva readers? Are you embittered that there is no money? it’s not their fault. I’m sure that for 99,99% of the scenes you shoot, a film apparatus (without focus areas) and a manual lens are enough. What you don’t understand does not mean that it’s bad or wrong! For almost all of us, photography is pampering, and for this there is simply a mass of amateur equipment for a penny, which is enough for playing for the eyes,

    • Lynx

      silly stuffing.
      and no, they’re not studying.
and yes, the price is unambiguously raised without taking into account market analysis and the current situation.
This is not for you 2006, when they threw some water for the same 2 bucks, but she EXACTLY had something to tear competitors with.

      • anonym

And when it (the price) was not overstated for the new cameras? Can you name a year? Have already reached your Pryatka and 35 1.8, you push holes at all.

        • Lynx

          More pain!

    • anonym

I absolutely agree with you and support every word! What you said is, in fact, so. This is called. “Camera mr because I don’t have money” or “do it I don’t know what, I don’t know how”. Give the matrices to people))) Although Nikon matrices have the largest DD. It's funny to read the local experts)) All “about” the community of the most objective people in the world gathered at the joyful meeting)))

      • Photographer

        one hundred%)))))

  • Michael_19

Good news, and most importantly unexpected. Before the New Year, he changed his D5100 for a used D300s. So far, I am completely delighted with the controls, the second screen and the ability to use glass with a “screwdriver”. So the D500 will also have its customers. And they can always reduce the price depending on demand.

  • David

Most of the photographers washing at inflated prices are either amateurs or gardeners who consider themselves to be pros (actually bombed). And those severe uncles that shoot bears in the taiga or seals at the pole smoke these cameras and will only be happy.

    • anonym

In-in, the herd led by Lynx, mumbling and roaring, spit on food that they never eat. Funny. Go down already.

      • Gene jb

Damn, I don’t understand what is the point of the dispute? Well, yes, the cameras are expensive and not outstanding at all. why are you protecting them? for example, the kenon 650 also brought nothing new except the price, the 70D is already something sane for innovations, for example, focusing in the video. but what is being surveyed here are just expensive worthless things with outdated requirements. the same WiFi or wireless flashes. I have a flash control module on my 60D. I really did not use it, but it is. it is necessary to look objectively, compare according to parameters, and not according to “amazing colors in the frame”. you just have to admit stupidly Nikon screwed up with these models.

        • Lynx

          650d VERY GOOD CAMERA.
Firstly, he, at a price of 20 thousand rubles (which is quite a bit at present) has:
          1. a swivel screen (and swivel, and not folding)
          2. touch screen with work with frames, as well as an indication of the focus point.
          3. “standard” Canon colors - “stability is a sign of craftsmanship”.
          4. Extremely light weight, while maintaining all the semi-amateur functions of canon.
those. in fact, at this moment, this is a canon camera that offers MAXIMUM and optimum capabilities at a more than reasonable price.
Plus, she has a "little sister" - a cute baby, 100d white.
In fact, now this is the best amateur camera from canon, IMHO.

          • Alexander

Kenon 650d you now will not even find much for these

            • Alexander

The only ad for this price, the rest from 20500 start. You directly found a diamond among shit)

            • Lynx

this was the third announcement from above.
Well, prices have jumped now. but now everything has jumped. Its price in dollars has not changed.

    • Andrei

David is the only adequate person along the way, the rest are PHOTO DRIVERS. We got whining.
That prices are high then the hands are crooked.

  • David

What is the dispute about? Are they good or bad? People will vote with the ruble. But the tendency can be traced - if there is not enough money for a thing, it automatically goes into the category of bad ones.
Personally, I really want a D5 for myself. And I think in a year and a half I’ll buy it.

    • Lynx

      Filming wildlife in Mongolia?

  • Lynx

    In short, summing up.
D5 is an extremely decent camera, I think it will be no worse than the triple in its time. Not without its drawbacks, such as separate Wi-Fi and puff control blocks (which is ridiculous on a camera of this range, but Nikon needs to make money on the staff).
The D500 is an extremely controversial camera with its price, demand, ergonomics and features (and bugs will be in abundance, at least with the implemented Nikon Wi-Fi). Obviously late with the release (by 2-3 years). Separate external flash control units and wi-fi? a whale with controversial quality and light for $ 1000? Nikon, are you serious? or did you “leave me alone”?
Sat-5000. Well, this is the sb-700, which was bitten by YongNuo, and it has not recovered from the bite and is ill, but it is getting its price. Separately, there is a lateral (and not a hot shoe, like normal people!) Boil of the control unit from the camera.

    • anonym

      Well, I got it.))

      • Lynx

hopefully. less anonymous - more freedom to breathe!

        • anonym

Breathe more freely when there are less clever people and boors.

          • Lynx

well, so save us from our presence, make the world cleaner!

            • Anonymous # 2

I don’t remember verbatim, but someone here once wrote:
-It used to be a forum like a forum until cats pissed.
Words are not mine, but will come in handy

              • anonym

I'm allergic to cats! ) But in fact, there is nothing to argue and scream about. We must wait for those who really fumble in the cameras to take it in their hands.

              • Andrei

I support. We got whiners. Sofa experts.

            • anonym

For example, I am waiting for feedback from the real owners of these new cameras and I miss Lynx's boring meows past my ears.

              • Lynx

                why do you need them?
you still have no money for her.

    • zengarden

SB-700 + radio synchronizers will come out cheaper than SB-5000. Power is lower, but not so critical. And it does not overheat, yes :)

  • Matthew

You won't understand the people ... No new products are bad, there are new products - even worse. I released trash again)) As far as I understand, photography is just an excuse for many to talk, spend time, “participate” in movement. In reality, you shouldn't worry so much about paper characteristics, or “wrong” WIFI, well, buy with the right one, if it’s so svirbit. And there is no need to wait for miracles, this is just a technique that has long been simply magnificent. Give me a dare at least D810, at least 5d3, all the same - the output will be noise. And also, dear weddings, your personal professional needs and priorities are not always relevant for others, if camera A suits you, it does not mean that it suits the rest. Like, I urge all people of free will to speak out more clearly. For example, the D800 suited me for a landscape. A not d700 is rubbish because there are few pixels. These are different cameras for different needs. They are both obsolete against the background, say d810, but one suffices d700, while others have no money for d810. That's all. Why waste time on the disadvantages of compromise solutions and the delights of the top ones? No one scolds the D5100 or praises the D4 until they lose their pulse, but only not lazy ones did not walk on the D600 / 610. It's just that the d5100 costs 10 thousand rubles and there are no questions for your money, but the d600 already stands as a camera, and having paid in blood you want to feel like a king. No money - buy Zenith.

    • Lynx

Yes. Because the D4 perfectly solves its tasks and is balanced, the D5100 is also one of the most successful cameras so far.
And the six hundred, as they were shit-consumer goods for "bombing" and remained. As a "dozen" - they buy a patamushta for a good new one, there is no money, but for a good second-hand "it is shameful for a pasan to ride"))

      • anonym

It seems like a “good used” is cooler than the new “ten.” No?

        • Lynx

Yes. But pasans ponty (ff) is more expensive than deneh

      • Alexander

And why is the D600 worse than the D5100 and D4? Do not tell "professional")))

        • Lynx

not .. I’m not going to explain moles about the color of the rainbow.

          • Czeslaw

Well, well, I moved from 600 to 810: d600 does 95% of the tasks that d810 does. The 810 has a tighter body, better autofocus performance in dark conditions. By the way, the 810 starts making noise a little earlier, but its ISO> 6400 is better than that of the d600. Well, they differ in color, but in this I do not see a problem, tk. all the same, 99% of the photos are run through LR / ACR, etc. The oil was on the first batches, and all the cameras suck the dust in one way or another. IMHO, I see the point of taking d800 / d810 along with top fixes (so to speak, ideal for staging, landscapes, etc.)

          • Alexander

Are you afraid that moles will see better than you?)

            • Lynx

no. I’m just not wasting my time.

              • Alexander

Well, I noticed that you are not wasting time, in this thread of your comments over 9000 alone, at the same time you didn’t even see the technique described in this article live, not that you used it, but you already know everything about it))

            • Lynx

exactly. When I want to have fun, I have fun.

    • anonym

d600 / 610 has the main minus OIL AND DUST. how to put up with this?
about used cameras - the same d800 is sold with a mileage that has paid off more than once this camera, but for a price - a little lower than the new one! there is no need to talk about short-sightedness. as if I was shooting models from the inside! Fuck such a camera! It's scary to take it in your hands - either it breaks or you wind it yourself ...

      • Novel

Recently I watched how they sold a used 5D Mark II in a hollow (all in scratches, on all buttons the paint peeled off, some where the rubber peeled off), and sold for over 1k $
So we also have such unique ones)

And about 600/610 - yes, frankly amateur performance. Canon has 6D - and that is more reliably assembled. Although it loses in terms of functionality, it wins in constructiveness))

  • Irakli

And who has information on how much photographic equipment manufacturers take into account our thoughts on the site in their new developments?

  • Irakli

... well, there was a "study", there was a "Kiev-Vega", there was a "FED 3", there was a "Zenith TTL", there were "Dapan soap dishes", there was a "Nikon D90", now there will be a need for "Nikon D610" - there will be "D5" (the price does not matter), let them produce different cameras, for all categories of consumption, it's great, why so try to raise one thing and tilt the other in discussions, all for their money ...

  • Novel

Less than 3 years later, Nikon admitted that a radio in a flash is a very useful thing ...
True, who wanted a radio on Nikon, they have long been happy with the full set of Yongnuo 622)

And who needs such a puff 2-3 years after the strobe boom is unknown (
The most offensive thing is that the puff is good, and the D500 is good, and the 5 is good. Excellent cameras, great flash, but at the wrong time ((

    • Dima Vrachinsky

about YN-622 - I completely agree with you)

  • Peter Sh.

If you think about it, I personally need to shoot competitions and theater performances: workers are high ISO, because with flash it is rarely allowed to shoot, fast and tenacious AF tracking, a large frame buffer, a cast-iron protected case and two cards. Everything else, such as video schmideo and wi-fi, is absolutely on my drum. I think the drum is old or new, the processor, the number of megapixels, the speed of synchronization with the flash (what for a flash, if I can without it?), The minimum shutter speed (I never shoot faster than 1/1000) and all the rest is like rubbish.
So I say, if there will be ISO 6400 workers (and preferably higher), then for me, Nikon coped with the task at 100.

    • Lynx

      D3S and norms.

      • Peter Sh.

No way. In a bad light, with a shutter speed of 1/500, not a single one pulls how much money you don’t give.

      • Peter Sh.

I will add. The same D3s does not reach quite a bit, just one stop only. So there is hope that the new one will still be a couple of stops better. Let's wait until March.

        • A.N. Onim

I have been shooting on D3s for four years now and I really like it, a very successful camera, so much so that I did not switch to “fours”. With all its advantages and not being killed, the most significant flaw is a small buffer, about 32-34 frames in a series, then the camera shuts up, even with the fastest memory cards. D5 doesn't seem to have this problem. I have high hopes for the new AF module, and the main thing is not the number of points, but the sensitivity range from -4 EV! All sorts of buns in the form of touchscreens, 4k video, XNUMX million ISO are pleasant, but nothing more.

          • Lynx

Words are not a boy, but a husband!

  • Vlad

d500 without anti-filter (like D7200) or is there a filter in it?

  • Alexander

What is the difference when they released their improvements this year or 3 years ago, the main thing is the price-quality ratio. The market will put everything in its place.

    • Oleg

Well, that’s how it was arranged to belatedly follow the path of a competitor

  • Oleg

I read about the whale lens as many flattering words: here you have both “versatility” and “portrait”. Less than three years later, Nikon got a STEP MOTOR. The competitors seem to be in 2012 yet. This is called late ignition.

  • brighty

In a year or two, everyone will get used to both d500 and d5, and for the next updates it will start again - buuu, well, what for it was to update the already good d500, etc. etc.

And also, for sure, an ambush for the owners of d4s, like yesterday you were, as they say, “he is top”, and today it’s bang, and you’re like a loser, with old stuff in your hands.

    • Lynx

he is not just not the top .. he is now in the archive on offsite!

    • Novel

Here the question is not that "what for to update" ... The question is that similar, down to the smallest details, the competitor's solutions appeared three years ago.

And all these three years, a couple of “Nikonists” I know (myself and Canon since 2008) have been convinced that “there is no need for a radio in a flash”, that “stepper motors should only be put in toys”, etc.

And now their beloved Nikon has recognized the need for "useless and hopeless" technologies ... And how to live on? )

    • anonym

The same whining was when d7100 came out. And .. "expensive" and "there is no point in changing q7000 to q7100", etc. But it soon became clear that the d7100 has an "incredibly viscous wheel" and "autofocus in the d7100
much better than d7000 ”etc. In short, it is likely that it will soon become clear that d300s will turn out to be g ... ohm in comparison with d500.

  • B.R.P.

    Interesting Lynx leads the meeting)))

    • Lynx

Forward, to the victory of canonism-Nikonism, comrades!
