  • Dmitriy

In the order of humor. I really miss the review of the full line of Jupiter-37A and Helios-44 in the second round! :)))

Arkady, let's move on already, otherwise I’m afraid to not live to the digital age in Radozhiv !!! :)

    • Arkady Shapoval

Honestly, at first I thought to send you this review, but did not have time. And as NOT HUMOR - I turned to some of our Ukrainian reviewers who are geographically located in Kiev, I wanted to offer them two, almost zero S5 Pro for review. In the end, some explained to me that “they don’t review the trash”, and the second “that they are not able to make a high-quality review of the S5 Pro”. Still others agreed, but when I prepared a review for them, they just started to freeze. As a result, I decided to send this review http://www.vlador.com/, with whom we became friends, but Vladimir did not answer something in Skype for a couple of days. Just at this time I was doing a joint video review of Nikon DF with PhotoZen, and they got my text and my photos from the S5 Pro. And no offense, but write your own review on the S5 Pro or S3 Pro in your style of "fujika legend destroyer", and then make fun of the Helics and Jupiters.

      • Dmitriy

Arkady, I understand that you have the main focus of the site on old lenses and cameras (do I understand correctly?). But the Fuji S5 reviews are already just the sea.
This is constructive criticism - I'm just waiting for new episodes from Radozhiva. There is, for example, Nikon D810, for example .. Your opinion about it is interesting.
About Fuji - I would love to “wash down” about s5 in this style, but I don't have this camera. I can only use it on Nikon D300, which is.
Thanks for the intention to submit a review! And it's hard to write alone, and you yourself know. Sometimes you need to “dilute” your reviews.

        • Lynx

Well, send Arcadia D810, I think he will be happy to review it.

          • Dmitriy

If I had the 810th, then I would not be interested in a review of it.

            • Dmitry K

pha, and Arkady does not have it. where does the review come from. Here is the principle of voluntary donation of the camera for review. There is even a special branch - “looking for a review”. What they send - that's what reviews. The review will not arise from desire.

              • Dmitry K

I would also read a lot of things .. Eh .. And then these reviews on YouTube are strange somehow .. And comparisons of cameras in general are often based on instructions. And Arkady writes without fools. I would use it and read about the second nickel. And comparisons of Nikon Canon based on real feelings. I ultimately chose Nikon only because I found the joyful before all the other reviewers and fell in love with it for its comprehensibility

              • Dmitriy

From a strong desire, it will arise. But I am an inveterate canonist and therefore wanting 810 just for reading. For me personally, only canon 5ds can arise if I really want to.

            • Lynx

And if Arkady had d810, then a review would have been on him

              • Antosha

Lynx, you are just over the captain of the obviousness that something like "if I had not won, I would have lost."

The person (for a minute - a representative of the audience of the resource), expressed a harmless wish, and the audience should be important for the owner of the resource.

Perhaps in the future Arkady will have a choice of what to review. Also, he may recall that they wanted this and that. And, perhaps, decides to give it to his audience in the first place. If possible, of course.

On a subject - the review is interesting to read, despite the fact that he is the second)

              • Lynx

Antosha, do you seriously think that if Arkady has the opportunity to review such a thing as d810, then he will miss it? Especially considering his meticulousness in the reviews, even when they send him a half-working version of the lens already considered?
Or do you seriously think that someone will bring Arkady a box of top-end carcasses of different systems for review and let him choose “one of a couple dozen?
There are many dozens of similar "velmi original" proposals on the site over the years, and each time the inability of those who wrote them, to realize the most banal things, amazes, and who also think that from "such mega-original wishes" Arkady will immediately get a carcass for review.

              • Antosha

Lynx, you didn't read carefully. Try it another time - at first it will hurt a little, then it will be pleasant. Read CAREFULLY my commentary, and then indulge in lengthy speculations. Peace to you.

              • Lynx

Oh, do you think you are even a little original in your comment? It is no more original than 100500 comments “Let’s write this for me, I want to buy this (though there’s no money for it anyway), you need to take into account my opinion as a reader, you owe me only because I read you, so strain and find for review. "
                Pfff ... what a horror))

              • Antosha

Lynx, it's not about originality, but about adequacy. As for originality - you always write the same thing, so there is nothing)

              • Lynx

With adequacy, those who write this also have big problems. I see no reason in these dull cases to be original at least a little.

        • Peter Sh.

Those who buy the D810 do not need reviews, they already know everything.
But a review on the spot will be interesting to a wide range of both amateurs and professionals.
Moreover, it does not matter how much has already been written about it, once again it never hurts. Maybe the techies have known everything for a long time, but just creative people suffering from their ignorance will be very, very grateful to the author.

          • Dmitriy

I am a subject photographer. My student was 810th when he knew almost nothing. After training, he sold the 810th and bought the 800th. I also sold Nikkor 105 and bought Tamron 90. So for those who know more, they’re more likely to use moderate technology, and the amateurs buy new items. Well, I also generalized, like you :)

            • Alexander

What nonsense? Why do this? Who in their right mind would sell the best already available to buy the worst? This option is possible when a person has nothing else on hand, and he only chooses. But in this case, it smacks of some nonsense. You or a dreamer or a teacher is very good.

              • Dmitriy

Why call stupid everything that you do not understand? You can just ask the reason.

D800 in terms of image quality is no different from the D810, unfortunately. But the cost is very different. So taking a more affordable set, there’s still a lot of money left to buy studio equipment that will provide really new shooting opportunities.
to understand that I am not a dreamer and I know what I am talking about “d800 vs d810” - here is one of my photos, taken with Canon 5dm2. On the d800 it is possible to do even more detailed, but the d810 will not add anything new here.

Fuji X-e2 was also sold and bought by Canon 1D mark III for sequential shooting.
So it’s quite possible to sell thoughtlessly bought expensive things and turn them into something very useful. Sometimes even without loss of money, as with the d810.

        • Arkady Shapoval

Dmitry, everything is much simpler. What technique is given for review, that I review. Our people are poor, so the technology of the people is "poor", and it is much easier to give a review of a helik for 300 hryvnia than 200 / 2.0.

          • Dmitriy

Arkady, well, not all the same people give .. You have some kind of company that actively gave equipment. 810th, for example, I saw. Even made test shots. I'm interested in your view of him

            • Arkady Shapoval

99% is help from people. There are no special problems to take a new technique, but some things are not very interesting to me personally either. 810? So what?

              • Dmitriy

That's interesting, "so what?" Is there happiness in the life of a Nikonist? :)

            • Lynx

              No happiness

      • Oleg Muravitsky

Arkady, I would be happy to test and write another review of the hedge, about which I have heard and “well-read” so much that it has long been itching to twist it. The only thing, I do not know how interesting it is to the Gagadget for which I am writing, but I think they will not refuse in the blog format.

        • Arkady Shapoval

I wrote to you in the mail :)

    • anonym

Repetition is the MOTHER of teaching

      • Alexey

Repetition is the mother of stuttering :))))

  • Dmitriy

It looks like the same metering sensor is on my F5

  • anonym

Here for Zen you have made many portraits, and for us, despite numerous requests, some flowers at the entrance :(

    • Arkady Shapoval

I have to upset you that in my review of s5 pro on Radozhiv there are links to many reviews where “I worked with c5 pro”, where a lot of everything. By the way, the pictures for Photo Zen were selected from the archives of those reviews. Therefore, please, just be careful :)

    • Lynx

Have you even looked into the overview of the hedge? there are photos, including portraits - much more than in the new article.

  • Igor

    Thanks for the review, Arkady!

  • Stanislas

Thanks for the review, Arkady, as the owner of the S5 Pro I fully share all the conclusions and generalizations! I also extracted something new - the value of the antimoir filter in low resolution.
Basically I shoot on SF film, the prop is the only “figure” that I have left with me. Yes, just for this "old stuff" Sigmovsky Art will come one of these days, I hope that a good alliance should be formed :)

    • Stanislas

      Alliance formed!
It was very interesting to try very sharp glass on the heel, hoping to get rid of or reduce the known "soapiness" of the S5 Pro picture. I chose Sigma 50 1,4 Art as a candidate - the glass received a lot of positive reviews precisely for its sharpness, which in an open hole is compared no less than the Zaisovsky 55m Otus. In general, I am very pleased with the result - the sharpness and resolution are sufficient for me, the picture is very “tasty”, voluminous, there are few misses.

      • Lynx

        curious experience however!

  • anonym

There are so many different reviews and disputes about what our everything is about 5), but there are no reviews where they compared cameras “head-on”, took the same lens, took cameras d200, d300, d3000 pro5 - put them on a tripod and on about the same parameters, the model was filmed, and then the result was compared in the collage without processing, according to these images one could judge so critical DD, CB, sharpness

    • Peter Sh.

There is a whole carload of them on the Internet who constantly writes about it. The same Kenya Rockwell. Go to him and do not fool us.

    • Dmitriy

For those who like head-on comparison from a tripod on Radozhiv there is a special banner link at the very bottom of the page, which shows four lenses. Radozhiv has its own approach. Therefore, I read Arkady leaning back in my chair and enjoying the clover in the fields, girls and other artistic photos (along the way, you can find out the technical characteristics and opinion of the author)

      • Arkady Shapoval

So yes, I do not do comparative tests.

      • Alexey

        + 100 %
it’s in the armchair while drinking coffee and watching the news on other tabs.
in a pairwise comparison, it is too obvious that 90% of the viewed from old lenses is just rubbish. and not trash is very expensive.
As for Fuji, the camera is very outdated today. I had it for more than a year, more precisely, there were two things.
Nikonist is interested exclusively in skinton, which is simply sad for most Nikon cameras today. she no longer has any super duper advantages. AF fine tuning is not available. the resolution is 6MP - real, something is extrapolated to 12MP, but you can really see that 6MP. those. the pictures are soapy and you can see it perfectly.
the kenonist simply does not need it. everything is in order with the skinton at kenon, the lenses do not fit.
        meaning?

  • Roman

Arkady, were you not interested in sigma sd1, dp1,2,3, merrill? It would be interesting to see the reviews and your comments on these cameras.

    • anonym

I support the question on sigma

    • Arkady Shapoval

      It was not possible.

  • anonym

Peter Sh shshshshsh…. here, there is no need to send anyone anywhere, we are happy, and everyone here discusses and expresses his own.

  • Peter Sh.

    Well, I’ll say otherwise.
I’m sure that you can’t spend your precious time comparing shots from similar cameras. If they say that this camera is better here, but worse here, then you should wind it up, trying on your own preferences. And then you can spend your whole life on experiences without ever noticing the whole stunning beauty of the world around us.

    • anonym

      I agree!

  • Arkady Shapoval

By the way, all of a sudden, the new c5 pro review gathered more comments than the long-awaited 10-24 in the previous review :)

    • Oleg

The kid is expensive: “He sees an eye, but a tooth doesn’t.” Arkady's Lynx syndrome fell ill with heath. In fact, interesting colors, some kind of handwriting at the camera

    • anonym

Let's ask the manufacturer to do a rebranding ?, restyling ?, reincarnation ?, a sequel? or whatever else you can call it. Uh-uh! :) Bring back the CCD ...

    • Lynx

      Holivar Eurivea!

    • Lynx

In addition, 10-24, to be honest, boring ..
Nikon's crop in general, for the most part, is boring. Suitable 10,5 and 35 / 1,8 are rather pleasant exceptions

  • anonym

Everything is known by comparison. And without it, good or bad, any statement is unfounded anyway.

  • Alexander

I do not see anything special and predominant in the picture of this unit. This is all at the level of some kind of auto-suggestion and fanaticism, nothing more.

    • Lynx

Well, it’s good that you are so critical to yourself!

    • Peter Sh.

“… Shaw you babbling all the time on this old piano? Would buy yourself a new piano, and it takes up less space, and makes the same sounds - sho noda do, sho note re ... "

      • Alexander

Did I say that you shouldn't buy it? Buy and use for your pleasure. But there is nothing special about it, whatever one may say. Only a stubborn fanatic will prove the "magic" of this apparatus.

        • anonym

I agree. And the King is naked!

          • Alexey

            100%
therefore sold. I have no regrets. Added money and bought a much better device.
It was easy to sell, thanks to PR in the net and the presence of a bunch of fanatics :)

the network has paired photos of D200 and hedgehogs. with exiphs and full sizes. Japanese photographer carefully tested the phenomenon of soaking. it is clearly seen that the “phenomenon” is in the minds and not in the pictures. :))))

  • Dezdecado

Hmm, yes it’s not Fuji at all! IMHO.

  • Gregory

Yes, the camera is good, but now they are asking for about 10000 UAH. :( I recently bought a d 200 with a mileage of 18 k for 4800 UAH., In excellent condition.

    • Lynx

Pfft ... had a chance to take in the spring for 312 bucks.

  • Dmitry VK

Thank you for a very pleasant review in an unusually different style! It turned out interestingly!
For me, s5 pro and d300s lost the d7000 in the struggle to upgrade a single camera. But still, I have a sense of respect for such cameras!
I believe that without reason no one will ever defend a camera 10 years ago.

    • Dim

People tend to stick to old things, many have balconies, garages and simply “corners” around the apartment are crammed with incredibly “useful” things that you still have to climb over to use the apartment itself. I'm not talking about this camera, but to dispel illusions.

      • Lynx

If you are not talking about this camera, then what illusions do you dispel?
Especially considering that what you mentioned is “the difficulty of parting with the fact that you have stock,” and not something that is “specially bought”, with some choice, including money.
So your analogy is completely inappropriate.

        • Dim

The fact that there is a lot of humanity in people, but it largely defies logic and it is not worth relying on “I believe that no one will ever defend a camera 10 years ago without reason” - buy something unexpected, although it is possible spiritually and grow up.

          • Lynx

in people a lot of human? come on!

      • Peter Sh.

I recently took the D200 as a second camera, although there is money on the D7200 as well. And not at all because of fanaticism, but for certain reasons - the correct skin tone, including.
So, to declare all owners of the food a distant fan, at least ignorant.

        • Alexey

take the canon. and the skin tone will be normal to you.

          • Peter Sh.

When the D200 runs out, you'll have to take Canon, yes. In the meantime, he suits me all.

          • Alexander

            Began …

  • Zmitser

I would buy one, because I think that I grew out of the D3000. But in Belarus there are very few of them (at the flea markets there was a choice of two), and I am still striving for Ibei Chota, because the same goes for money

  • Igor

Let s5 die in peace. The camera has been out of date for 5 years, and everyone is digging it out of the grave and extolling its ephemeral virtues. The same applies to Soviet lenses - how can you hook this stuff to a DSLR? If you can still choose 5-10 good representatives from old foreign lenses, then almost all Soviet ones are unsuccessful copies of foreign analogues.

    • Lynx

      What a horror!

    • Alexey

junk is advertised by pseudo gurus who don’t have money for normal equipment.
Mark 3 they do not pull, and cheeks need to puff. so that the neophytes are impressed.
on the other hand, all sorts of flea markets also want to have their own profit, so they pay for all sorts of reviews of the "unique" and "unique" photo of garbage.
don't get it wrong, a $ 20 lens or a $ 100 heap is probably an option for a budget hobbyist. but not more.

      • Lynx

One of a kind !! all this is a conspiracy barachologist !!! 1

      • Peter Sh.

        How scary to live!

        • Alexey

to fasten the Soviet guano 30 years ago (an unsuccessful copy of a foreign lens), dopil infinity with your hands, onto some kind of ancient carcass in 1MP (as you know, a lot of pixels are not needed! real men and 0.3MP will take off a masterpiece!) and go in for creativity furiously rotating two hands ring on a piece of iron in search of the cherished focus!
and living is no longer scary! )))))))))

          • Alexander

Solidarity completely! I always say that too. And the point is not even the lack of autofocus, but the fact that this is a priori crap in our time. “It” may well exist, but chanting deferamba)) is already a clear shizanutos) No offense.

            • Peter Sh.

“Ignorance is the night of the mind. The night is moonless and starless. " - Cicero

              No offense.

      • Pastor

So where does the money come from, if people with top cameras are better than brand 3, they still say that Fuj s5pro is good. Go to the club photo and read the thread about the subject. There, people with an optics park at a price like a Mercedes still love s5pro.
P.S. Where is the $ 100 ghoul? Give me two!

        • anonym

In-in, to his eleven. Brad ... ..P.S. And why two then?

          • Pastor

They break, you know. Come up with a nickname, otherwise it is inconvenient to distinguish an unpleasant person from a simple anonymous person.

            • Alexander

If a person does not agree with your opinion, he immediately goes into the category of "unpleasant"?

              • Pastor

No, if he communicates adequately and politely (and does not call the opponent’s words nonsense), but argues reasonably and based on some experience, he remains pleasant. And you argue what tastes better, jam or honey, while trying only jam.

              • anonym

“Do they break, do you know” - and this is the answer of a serious person? ... .. And as for honey and jam, I will not argue, I really love both.

              • Pastor

It is useless to argue with you. Pryatka is an old camera and it does not suit you. Shoot on the d7000 and don't bother me anymore. I leave you the right to give me a taunt, I will not answer you anymore.

              • anonym

                Good luck, talker coward.

            • Lynx

well, anonymous is known to be worse and better, so ...

            • Alexey

I have an album uploaded on Yandex where 50% was filmed for the sinking and 50% for Nikon. no difference. and you will not see it without exif. from the word in general.
no one says that you can't get a good picture to get it. you can't get a detailed one on it - 6MP is obviously not enough, even taking into account the downside.
you can’t get a picture on it that will be very different from that taken, for example, on kenon or sony after a little processing.
Well, how do you explain. for example, a Roman chariot.
can you drive it to work? probably yes. harness there and forth. but maybe a little easier by car? yes, more expensive. yes there are no such sensations. but the task - from point A to point B - is being performed :))))
but at the flea market you can find some super duper chariot wheel. and put it :))))

              • anonym

                I agree.

  • Sergei

Arkady, do you have the opportunity to find a more or less lively S5 PRO for reasonable money.

    • Lynx

and you were banned on Avito? O_O

      • Sergei

It was a case I bought for Avito 16-85 for 11 tr, for my d40 it was very successful…. But I probably wouldn't have dared to take the camera like that….

      • Sergei

Looked at Avito, only two sentences s5, very far from me ...

        • Lynx

Well, spaghetti is not so common in the territory of the former USSR so that in any city there will immediately be an announcement. Wait, hope, catch, monitor not only Avito but also other flea markets, you can even in cities where there are friends who can be asked about it

        • Jury

Try to arrange for a cash on delivery camera. If anything, pay a little more for the chores.

    • Arkady Shapoval

You will have to do it yourself.

  • Lynx

    More tin in this thread!

    • Alexey

      or so)))
maybe it makes sense to argue about the taste of oysters when you at least tried them?

      • Lynx

Oh yeah!! let's sketch who the biggest rogue !!!!!
        ....
550d by the way is a very suitable device.

        • Alexey

so you srach and started? or is it your exclusive?

          • Lynx

            By no means

  • varezhkin

Mlyn, why old man Nikon can’t include film profiles in cameras and a native converter ?! how this is missing now! tired of this modern dull color! give colors like D50 and S5!

    • Lynx

      patamushta is unnecessary.
light room and a bunch of presets to help you.

      • varezhkin

I know. just the same, the native converter is completely difficult to replace, so you have to finish the faded tiff from cnx to Ps / Lr. Previously, at least there was a Nik CE package for CNX-D. now they’ve also been deprived of this (for new cameras).

        • Vladimir

varezhkin, but can Nik CE be installed for CNX-D? Or are you confused with the NX2?

          • varezhkin

yes, of course cnx2. the problem is that there is nothing like that for cnx-d. and have to work in 2 programs.

    • Alexey

      Mlyn, here are the albums.
filmed on 3 cameras. 1 spaghetti and two nikon. photo almost immediately after conversion.
you- see the difference in color ???

        Grazing !!! guessing game, abvg-deyka!
Healing is the first, right, right? the lynx guessed right?

        • Alexey

the first is a mix from two cameras. what frames from the hedge? :)
the third album is all over the place. you didn't name it! :)
          something like this :)

      • Alexander

What difference does it make. There are just sick on the head (without exaggeration) fanatics.

        • Alexey

judging by the answers ... it is not clear what difference we are talking about at all.
The blind test is a cruel thing. cleans the brain of marketing and myths well.

          • anonym

… .And puts all the smart guys to the ground.

Choose the style you download, add either to the converter or to the camera, there are also film styles there

      • varezhkin

I tried. there is one name, I did not like it. Get a nice picture as it was on the D50 does not work.

  • anonym

And for me, the third one has a broader DD.

    • Alexey

DhO intended that the ghoul has less DD than D5100. the third is only ghoul.

  • Stanislas

IMHO Permeation is the second. The characteristic color pattern of the sky at least. The noises are also recognizable. All three cameras have a color difference.

    • Alexey

no offense. here are the answers to the “blind” test:
in the first album - more from the heap. but there are a couple of shots from Nikon, sunset.
in the second album - everything is done on nikon. ALL FRAMES - despite the “characteristic color pattern of the sky and noise” :) yes, yes. this is Nikon :) shot on D5100. with its “awful CMOS” color which turns out to be removed like an STS soak :)
the third album - everything was filmed.
I did not upload pictures from D800 :)
      lenses - Tokina 12-24 / 4, Nikon 24-120 / 4.

in principle, which should have been proven. and I myself do not see the difference in color, but the difference is visible in detail / resolution at full size - 16MP and 6MP - very visible.

anyone interested, a question for color and DD specialists - in the first album - where is the penetration and where is Nikon D5100? :)

      • Stanislas

This question cannot be answered. No offense, but most of the material is just awful - technically as well. These are typical “photos” with an insanely raised ISO, which did not save light from overexposures and shadows from coarse noise. It is better to shoot the dawn in the canyon with an iPhone, in principle, I would not dare to count on some kind of result in such lighting.
Strictly speaking, this is not even the point. The very formulation of the question suggests that you have not realized what and where your former hedge is good. It is difficult to recognize by its “color in general” - it is not Foveon, but it is easy to recognize by the accuracy of skin tones. DD is difficult to identify in landscape works - it is not at all suitable for this, who can argue. But it is easily determined in the nuances of the play of lights and shadows, details and tonal transitions in the folds of clothes. Yes, this is not enough for a single camera, and no one recommends perforation as such. But in the shooting of people, people in interiors, as Ken, our friend Rockwell wrote in the first camera review in 2007 and what this review is about, you still need to look.
PS A colors with the D5100 are terrible, especially green.

        • Alexey

finger to the sky again. there are no bullied ISO. nowhere.
among other things, ghouls have a non-linear dependence of the ISO / noise index.

      • Lynx

        And again you screwed up.
First, seriously speaking, a blind test is when one scene is shot, in the same light conditions with different cameras. you have everything completely different.
Secondly, I had enough confidence for the third one, but according to the terms you provided, there was only one album to get through, so the most obvious one was named. As for “ahaha, I have two shots from Nikon there !!!” Well, let. Nobody pointed out that the soaking can ALWAYS be distinguished. ))

        • Alexey

I didn’t say anywhere that ONE album was filmed. do not invent.
if there is no difference and it is impossible to distinguish, then this is all psychedelia. ))))
you and in the first album do not catch what is filmed and what is on nikon.

          • Lynx

you said that there are two nikons and one heap. In terms of the number of albums, it is quite logical that people watch entire albums as “each to his own camera”.
but “catch one frame that is very similar”. pfff ... this is like "proof" of creationists that man did not descend from ape on the basis of not found 1-2 transitional links from found over20.
One person pointed you to the first album, another to the third, and no one to the second, so even in such an irrelevant sample as yours and with such an incorrectly set task, the sinking is still “en masse”.

            • Alexey

Lynx, don't come up with it. what you conjecture is solely your problems.

"And no one on the second," - well, yes, your attentiveness is amazing. really, no one pointed to the second! )))))))))

IMHO Pryatka - the second. A characteristic color pattern of the sky at least. Noises are also recognizable. All three cameras have a color difference.

          • varezhkin

If you have not noticed the difference in the color approach of the cameras, this does not mean that others do not see it.

            • Alexey

              are you me
Did you catch the color difference?
below are two sets of paired photos. where is the hot water?
a question for specialists, those who caught :))))))))

      • Lynx

so "no offense" - but here's a more or less correct "blind test"
six shots taken two at a time - full-frame Canon, and full-frame Sony.
        1.

        • Alexey

          here are absolutely paired photos:

          • Alexey

where is the water, nikon and kenon?

            • Jury

In this test, they compared the FujiFilm S5 Pro vs Fujifilm S3 Pro vs Nikon D200, where did Canon come from?

              • Alexey

                but to confuse :)
I have already given a link to this test before, those who were really interested have already looked.
it is nice to see how the “experts” prove that the pictures from the heap are a canon, that from the heap is nikon, and from the protoroy - that the canon :)))))))))

there Lynx has already added two comments but guess who is hu and does not risk :)

but in fact, we must admit that there is no real difference in picture, color, halftone. color errors vary depending on the developer and they are really miserable. and there’s absolutely no advantage at all. alas :))))

          • Alexey

            more

          • Alexey

            and a couple to her

          • Alexey

            and more

          • Alexey

            and last
So, absolutely paired photos were shot on 3 cameras. )))
            where is the hot water?

          • Lynx

and you were not too lazy to sit and juggle in the converters. )))

            • Alexey

              there are no converters there))))))
Moreover, this is a photo from a large test, there are generally full sizes laid out.
as I understand it, you can’t determine where the ghoul is ????
by “characteristic halftones”, by “special color”?

              • Lynx

Personnel, by the way, are quite different even, and even here you can completely guess where the ghoul is.
And the funny thing is you know what?
What if “you are outwardly right somewhere,” and in some cases it is impossible to distinguish frames from the frame from frames from d800 (by the way, no one argued with it%))), then it turns out that the $ 300 soak gives out quality no worse than the current professional carcass for 1600.))

              • Alexey

the funniest thing is that you did not say where there is water, where is Nikon and where is Kenon.

any modern camera with a crop of 1.5 can, under certain conditions, produce comparable quality with the D800. Martynov showed this in his big test.
but only after downsize! because 36MP is not 6MP or even 16MP))))

      • Lynx

        2.

      • Lynx

        3

        • anonym

In photo # 3, the child turned completely pink. Is this not a D3100 case?

          • Lynx

            no.

      • Lynx

        4

      • Lynx

        5

      • Lynx

        6.

        • Alexey

here, it was filmed on Kenon, Nikon and Pryatyka.
the focal ones are slightly different, but the same thing was shot at the same time:

        • Alexey

where is the hot water? :))))

        • Alexey

          following

        • Alexey

          one more thing

        • Alexey

so where is it? with "semitones"? ))))

          • Lynx

czz ... how ugly it is to cheat with the exposure again. ; ((((

            • Alexey

filmed in mode A without editing. as the cameras intended, so I laid out.
nobody bothers you to correct it a little, the difference there is within 0.5.
back to the color - so where is nikon, where is kenon and where is the soak? )))))))))

              • Alexander

He will never guess where and what)) The fact is that the Lynx is the “lucky owner” of the soak)) Therefore, the “diagnosis” is clear here)

              • Andrei

Sorry to interfere with your holivar, but just wondering if I guessed the Fujifilm FinePix S5 Pro 3 frame?

              • Andrei

In the sense of frame 3 with a road and a bicycle

              • Alexey

Andrey, you are right. the third frame is road-bike - weaving.
it is easy to recognize blue on the pavement, in Nikon and Kenon the asphalt is displayed in real color.
blue should be removed in post-processing or play with the BB camera.

              • Alexey

Note that semitones, DD are hardly distinguishable. after minimal adjustments, all three images will be identical.

              • Lynx

That is, a third-party dude calmly guessed the heap, but you still prove that “no one sees”)))

  • Max

Arkady, you didn’t plan to do any unusual reviews or “articles about photos” for more interest and variety. Well, there, for example, reviews of “other photographic equipment” - all sorts of tripods, heads, power banks, interesting light filters, or an article on “what happens if you attach a telescope to your camera and try to use it as a super telephoto lens” or something else non-standard. I wonder if something like this fits into the theme or not?

  • Alexey

    and a couple more photos

    • Arkady Shapoval

There are still no pictures. It is a pain to evaluate camera performance from such images.

      • Alexey

no pictures at all - just a color check on three cameras. neither plot nor processing was applied.
color and midtones - it is quite possible to estimate. why these pictures were taken)
it is clearly seen that the nikon-kenon give out an almost identical picture. ghoul gives blockage in blue. everything.

more detailed pictures are needed - see above. apry D200 / protoroy / soak. a bunch of albums.
there are even more on the network.
nowhere, in any test, does the impregnation show any advantage in color and half-tones. modern kenons - loses in color. in BB and detailing, it is worse than almost all cameras today.

        • Lynx

so I sit, look, and remember the saying about glass oud.

  • Stanislas

Halftones appear where there is both color and light. In the above examples with light, it is somehow liquid, frankly ...
Something for example offhand. All STD settings (although I would have slightly adjusted the BB), from the edits there is a small crop from the bottom. To the question of halftones and DD.
By the way, trying to shoot this pre-dawn “nuclear explosion” in the clouds with three cameras, I was left with only a snapshot of the heel. 400th Portra in 205 Hassel went into a boring overexposure (and he measures the light well, very well), Sigma DP1 ... in general, I understand.

    • Alexey

      no problems.
here you have it with color and light.

      • Stanislas

Yes, in general, I don't really need it. But - the sand was a success. The sky is knocked out. What's interesting here?

        • Alexey

halftone, halftone. and the sky around the sun is always knocked out, because the sun does not fit into the max 15EV DD of modern cameras :))))
so where is the ghoul here? in the second and third pictures there is no sun and the sky around it is not broken.
Or maybe you’ll try to guess from the paired pictures above?

or lay out your paired pictures where the mysterious half-tones from the fuji that your favorites can see will be visible?

          • Jury

an example of the sky around the sun, only the solar disk is knocked out.

      • Lynx

the sky is littered with light, colors are boring, faded.
        Not a hitch.

    • Alexey

      or as

    • Alexey

or so - what is the picture taken?
      where is the hot water?
      camera options - kenon 6D, kenonm 5D Mark 3, nikon D800, nikon D5100, fuji impingement, sony a7

      • Stanislas

What is the difference which of these cameras and in whose hands could not convey details in the clouds? Marriage regardless of source.

        • Alexey

what details??? we are talking about halftones and color. show me a shot from the water without twisting sharping where details are visible in the clouds! )))))))))

        • Alexey

Well, the details are visible in your picture. Or is it also a marriage? )))))))))
or, frankly, it is impossible to determine the penetration because the colors are indistinguishable from other cameras. and you have confused ALL pictures from Nikon with a heath. by characteristic half-tones and noises))) and did not guess with ISO. and all then you have a marriage and a nightmarish quality))))
poor Lynxes everywhere seem to be fraudulent, you have no details everywhere and in general everything is bad. )))

      • Stanislas

Details in this context are overexposure spots with a loss of visible structure.

Do not worry so, please, that at one time you sold a ghoul. It was a very correct decision and it is not worth thinking that if a bunch of originals periodically discuss this device and even find it in a certain sense exceptional, it means that you did not see something in it at one time.
Nobody sees! You have proven it. This is really old stuff, not fit for anything worthwhile. And only for nostalgic-retrograde reasons, some limited and not following the progress of the subjects continue to shoot with her. I’m - about horror - the most important emotionally for myself: the portrait-event chronicle of my family. I have one of four cameras and I will say it as a prof. Preobrazhensky "for some tasks I certainly need a fifth!" Each is good in its own way, limited in its own way, the ideal is unattainable!

I want to note the firmness of your position, Alexei, and wish you good luck!

PS For the fujizombed: I bought Sigma for my hide-and-seek 50 1,4 Art - Ah and Wah! We liked each other very much!

        • Alexey

          what are you talking about?
you completely misidentified where the heap pictures are. you tried to prove that the knocked-out sky around the sun is a marriage. you posted some strange picture that should symbolize something (what ???)
then you started looking for some details with spots of overexposure. what are you talking about?
in the same place, on Yandex - there is an album - the sky. there is a full picture in the hole and nikon, there is no difference. neither in overexposure nor in details.

back to the specifics, there are a lot of paired shots posted above. Nikon D200, ghoul, anti-rust, Kenon, etc.
Neither you nor the Lynx - YOU CANNOT IDENTIFY HEAD PICTURES
          alas.

everything else - philosophy, mental anguish and so on blah blah - not to me.

if anything, I can buy it and take it off. just why ??? a modern camera - nikon-kenon-sony - will do it much better. at least from the point of view of BB and detail with such colors and midtones))))

        • Lynx

so you need, do not buy sigma. )))
