I really like the camera Fujifilm FinePix S5 Pro, therefore, in order to convey information about its capabilities to the general public, I prepared another review S5 Pro for photodzen.com.
Review can look at this link
Attention: I can give / forward my own review / test Fujifilm FinePix S5 Pro to all comers.
World. Work. Fujifilm FinePix S5 Pro!
↓↓↓ For spreading information about the camera in the form of re-posts - a plus in karma! ↓↓↓. Thanks for attention. Arkady Shapoval
images with minimal processing - exposure, BB correction, sharp, downsize
Yes, the old man, the old man, but he made a rustle. The debate is not comic unfolded
These debates are at the suggestion of Arkady. The next time he pushes our foreheads against us, comparing lenses, then systems, now here are the devices. Respect to Alex for the work done and the firm position. It is necessary to be able to drive the Lynx into the cage. It is a pity that the main thing was not heard. Fujizombed camera collector Pastor. Stanislav dotted all the AND, in my opinion. That's right ... .... And finally, a shot from Nikon into the Propyatka.)
The funny thing is that most of the arguing Nikonists. Users of other systems only nervously smoke aside
Because on canon there are usually no problems with skin tone, or they are less noticeable :) I like the colors 400d and 5d - the latter is just as good as Fuja, just different.
"Because there are usually no problems with skin tone on the canon, or they are less noticeable" - Haa))) Yes, yes)) Of course))
Bored w. )))
Those who are thinking of buying this wonderful camera for themselves or not should read Arkady's reviews, judicious comments, and understand that the strength of the S5 Pro is a portrait at low ISO, flowers, sometimes a landscape (only in skillful hands, as in the photo of Alexei Melnikov from the first review, for example, which). And there's no point in listening to those who prove that
about! and the dudes were hacked straight. )))
Bored w. )))
phew, repeat.
The S5 Pro is worse or better, it is not like other cameras. And it's better to feel it yourself :)
Yuri, what are you talking about?
weaving is a nikon d200 body.
good ergonomics, like most nikons.
color and halftone cm above. laid out more than enough.
features of ghoul.
BB often flips into blue - see the asphalt example above.
must be adjusted.
6MP is not enough, very little even after downsizing.
no precise AF correction - forget about shots with small depth of field
brakes
in fact, only one AF center point
poor AF tracking - which is logical
mediocre high ISO
average DD
problems with broken pixels (known feature of Super CCD matrices)
a problem with post-processing - many editors simply cut information from extra pixels. easy to check - after converting RAV to TIF, the size of TIF should be about 70MB. if the editor has cut off a piece of information, the TF will be 23MB.
as Dmitry already said (he has a great site and very interesting, detailed reviews), it is very useful to compare. e.g. camera X and camera U.
then the myths themselves disappear :)))
Unfortunately, Arkady does not make comparisons, which seriously reduces the value of his reviews for practitioners and not for those who care about nostalgia and mental anguish))))
at a price of 300 dollars per second-hand water, I personally do not see any sense in it. At this price you can find Nikon D5100 and Kenon and a good Sony, which are more modern which makes it easier and more realistic to get a picture of better quality. IMHO))))
Alexey, I mean that everyone should choose for themselves. It's useless for me to prove something with the pictures above, I have many of my own taken with this camera. After buying it, Nikon D3200 lay on the shelf and was later donated :). You almost correctly listed all the shortcomings of this camera (and more than once), but personally I get around them when I take a portrait, but otherwise: dead pixels appear only at long exposures (for which I take the D800), I had to work with the focus setting ( now everything is OK on all glasses, but the same D800 had a factory bug and fine tuning did not help - I also had to make efforts to fix the bug). Regarding BB - no problems, or RAV with post processing or fine tuning, average DD - sounds strange, because in the heel, the DD is more symmetrical (I can't find the right word) than in the same D800. Those. Old can be restored both from overexposure to 2 stops, and from underlight to 2 stops. In the D800, a two-stop overexposure is a loss of information, but from a 4-stop underlight, all information can be restored. The taste and color - the markers are different, you don't see the meaning, but I see. It is unrealistic to cover the entire range of photo tasks with heel, but this camera is alive and pleases its owners, something like this :)
I almost completely agree. and about the need for alignment in the Nikon service after purchase - I adjusted both the D5100 and D800. only it was free under warranty.
penetration - it must be adjusted for a fee. and then there will be a big problem - well, there are no lenses with zero adjustment. on other carcasses, this is decided by switching to contrast AF or fine tuning in the carcass. on the heap is a huge problem.
portraits are a small depth of field.
to carry it for some narrow tasks is an extra 1 kg of weight.
the carcass is certainly not bad, but today it has very limited use and a clearly overpriced price.
I did not like the D3200, is it like 12 bit? there really is something with halftones and color. I compared the water with D5100 / D7000. Comparison with D200 is above.
there are comparisons with the canons on the net, look.
I don’t understand what to pay attention to? The quality of the picture or the 5pro owner who is happy about something?
well, since there are no differences from other cameras in the quality of the picture, it remains to rejoice with the owners of 5pro. :)))) what a big and heavy carcass, what soap pictures, what brakes))) and sigh rolling your eyes to the sky - what half-tones!
remembering Anderson's tale - and the king is NAKED.
Don’t be nervous.
The D5100 is also a good camera for novice “defensive photographers”. And by the way, they also do not see the difference. ;)) Her screen also turns.
who is nervous. ))))
you were unable to identify the snapshots. then you write that they should be colorful, although they are just non-colorful - “colorful” gives a purely software profile.
where does the D5100? Above are pictures from both the D200 and the kenons. look at other albums on Yandex, compare with d800, with mark 3.
the people are out, the owners of the “characteristic noise” and “semitones” clearly chose nikon instead of the one))))))))
you, as the owner of the hedge, were unable to upload a single pair of photographs where “unique” halftones were visible. don't be nervous, console yourself that “uniqueness” and mental anguish can replace the soapiness, dynamic range, and so on that is in modern cameras. and the brakes are generally conducive to thoughtful shooting!
As an observation. I have several reviews in which sample shots were taken on two cameras (Nikon D700 and Fujifilm FinePix S5 Pro) in approximately the same scenes and at the same time on the same lens:
Nikon ED AF VR-Nikkor 80-400mm 1: 4.5-5.6D Vibration Reduction
Nikon ED AF Nikkor 70-300mm 1: 4-5.6D
Nikon N AF-S Nikkor 70-200mm 1: 4G ED SWM VR IF Nano Crystal Coat
Everywhere on-camera JPEG, images from the D700 and S5 Pro are very distinguishable and you can say with accuracy up to 90% in the series what was taken :)
Now I'll see, interesting :)
preliminarily - the D700 uses a Nikon design matrix, which Renaissance made for it (the marking was on the chip - Nikon).
the matrix is specific.
new nikon use standard sony matrices, which differ in working with color channels from old nikon matrices.
Toshiba is still doing something there, but it seems to be based on Sonev technology.
Renesas herself is already consumed by Sonya :)
modern Fuj - X-Trans is a Sony 16Mp matrix (as in Nikons and a bunch of other cameras such as Pentax, Sonya, etc.) but with a color filter designed by Fuji. made in the factories of Sony.
Nikon ED AF VR-Nikkor 80-400mm 1: 4.5-5.6D Vibration Reduction
looked. the difference is visible, the D700 is noticeably yellow. and skin tone is not very.
the gaze on some pictures has an excess of blue (auto BB problem).
skinton near the canopy closer to kenonovsky, did not try to compare?
in general, the pictures with the D700 are noticeably sharper, there are also blurry. pictures from the gazebo are usually soapy. sharpening sharpness in the native editor does not help - see below 1: 1
such an eerie soap for landscape photography today is like a heath - I don't even know ... the blue also needs to be edited in the editor.
on the other hand, the d700 never impressed me in color. this is a report, a tank for bombs.
when comparing in a pair of hedge and d700 - I agree, the hedge is distinguished primarily by skin tone (the red channel is mixed like in canon) and, in general, the color of heath is more interesting than that of d700.
but- I did not work with the d700. maybe something can be pulled out from there? )
Regarding the "creepy soap", think about the fact that there is still an aspect of the lens when working at infinity. Still, you had to agree that the S5 Pro stands out from the D700 shots.
Once upon a time I also did not see the difference between some cameras, sometimes it takes years to learn to see the difference, and also to understand where the “flowers” are and where the “berries” are.
easier to start from here
http://www.xrite.com/online-color-test-challenge
here for example my result
below two different skinton, different lighting and unpaired frames.
Where do you like skinton more?
option 1
option 2
Yes, everyone has identified everything. )))
And will there be a review?
Yes, we are waiting)
Just not about pro5ku!
There's still my review about Nikon DF came out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f4aiT_2LK_Q
Good day, I really like your reviews, but for some reason you have very few articles about Sony (SLT), both on cameras and on lenses, do you plan to change this situation in the future?
I plan)
I’m not shooting Fujika S5Pro often, but it’s fun :) https://500px.com/photo/73757135
Hi, I bought myself a fuji s5 for experimentation. I’m very interested in everything related to replacing the filter in front of the matrix, I know that in Moscow there is a person who does this, I am looking for any information. Also interested in examples of photos from this camera without a filter.
The best of CCDs is the Fuji S2 Pro. That everyone is so hung up on these S5 and S3 Pro. It seems to me that if you buy an old camera with the color ala film (Velvia, Provia) Fuji S2 then that is nnnada. Just if you are not biased, without Clubfot craziness on S5, look at these cameras, S2 takes them both in color and detail. Only DD is narrowish, but it is sufficient. In general, it seems to me, as a rule, S5 and S3 are praised by people who do not know how to work with color (that's why they always figure in JPG), while RAF is much better there.
