  • Madness scif

yes, the Sony corporation has not childishly dispersed in the field of the photo industry in recent years ... nikon and canon is high time to think bigger and put forward technically new products to the market, not brand marks and D xx00

  • Andrei

There are still loxia 35/2 and loxia 50/2

    • Arkady Shapoval

Of course there is, only there is no autofocus in them, because they do not stick to this article.

  • Vladimir

If I'm not mistaken, Sigma makes its lenses under the Sony E mount.

    • Arkady Shapoval

Yes, it does, but these are no longer “original lenses”.

    • anonym

Sigma does not make full lenses for Sony E

      • Arkady Shapoval

By the way, in general, someone makes full-length lenses for Sony E. Everyone boasts that you can stick any piece of glass there, but usually everything is screwed through adapters. Moreover, there are no “native” adapters for other systems, only all sorts of metabones, etc.

Are there non-native full-length lenses for Sony E? And if they are not, then why not?

After all, the native Sone FE is very, very expensive. In general, there is not a single budget lens. And throw away $ 500 For the sake of the cheapest Sony SEL-28F20, I don’t want to close the mount of my Sony a7 at all.

Of course, there are cheap Sony A SLR lenses, but an adapter for them will cost around $ 400, and for this money you can buy some nice fix for another system.

  • Yuriy75

One Sony A7s is worth it! With a standard 28-70, 3,5-5,6 can be shot in virtually any lighting conditions without noise. Dream Camera :(

  • Sergei

As soon as the range of lenses is expanded, a certain number of users will be transferred to such mirrorless cameras - and cameras with a curved matrix will be launched, requiring new lenses.

  • Lynx

it is worth adding that "almost any glass stands like a cast-iron bridge with gilding."
and "they are all scary! ... scary, CARL !!!"

    • Star boring. Igor

Maybe scary, but looking at any of them in conjunction with 7s, there is a childish desire to be able to shoot anywhere, even at night in the priest, and at the same time video, which theoretically can quite easily allow you to “create” films and beat off the grandmother, yes in the west, I mean, in the east it’s not in business ... and there’s still a trick, I didn’t delve into it, but it’s like working with several cameras, they are synchronized, etc.
the only thing that I have since the time of the video is an allergy to Sonev colors, and so autumn is cold

      • Lynx

At night in the pope with such a kit it is quite possible to meet worms in caps that may well ask questions:
        - Hey you! Cover the diaphragm!
        - This, here with such aperture do not live long, do you understand ?!
        - Hey, eh, what is your photosensitivity so high, eh ?!
        - Screw on the lens!
        - What, megapixels are too fucking?
        - We'll drop a fullframe for some people.
        - Or is the variance too low?
-I’m purely interested in myself, but don’t press ISO?
        - Well, let's see who has a tighter body.

        • Star boring. Igor

Worms are not the worst thing, but let's not catch up with horror at night looking ...

          • anonym

Lynx just noticed. Cool humor :)

    • Arkady Shapoval

      Horrible.

      • anonym

I don’t know how you have it on Sony and on Fuji everything is just wonderful.
And there is 16-55mm F2.8 and a TV set 50-140mm F2.8 is also available.
And from fixes so generally loaf whom you want to choose, and 1.4 and 2.0 and 2.8 and all that your soul wants. Sony only spanks the cameras one after another, then A7 then A7s then A7r or A7rII are just around the corner A7RR, A7RRS, A7RRSRII :) And they say they won’t let out lenses at all. They said enough of these, because it is not the lens and the photographer that takes off, but the carcass.

        • Arkady Shapoval

          Horrible.

          • anonym

            Here I read this post.
And the first thought of WTF?
Without SLR cameras, they buy kakbe for compactness.
But looking at all these gigantic lenses, I don’t understand what is stopping people from carrying D800 with their optics fleet? And if you take the Canon 5D Mk3 with L glasses, it will even come out cheaper than Sony, with similar sizes :)
Can anyone answer what drives people to buy Sony OTC with cyclopic lenses?

            • Arkady Shapoval

I asked a similar question on 30.06.2015/17/35 at XNUMX:XNUMX but there is still no answer.

If you want to get rid of the blacklist, write to my mail your IP and honestly that you will not break blog rules.

              • anonym

Why do I need it Arkady?
The number of IPs in the world is not limited. Enough for my age.
It’s just funny for me that I don’t write anything criminal like that, and you frantically wipe my comments for days on end. What you like about Sony and someone writes about the superiority of other brands is not a reason to clear the comments.
Although ... If Sony pays you for advertising, then why not.

              • Arkady Shapoval

I don’t even have a clue who writes this, it just hangs on the black list and that’s all, I don’t do any special gestures for that. I just too lazy to follow who messed up where. Always blacklisted on business - once someone has been insulted and is already there. If you write comments here, then you still need something.

Sony no longer gives me cameras, after I wrote a review a7r :). And in general, remember once and for all, of the company representatives, nobody gave me a penny for all these reviews, and if they did, I didn’t take it, of course, for what reasons. Due to what the site support is described here. On the same a7 that I use for reviews, collected the whole community and very long collected, I even had to sell 5d and c3 pro and nikkor 50 1.8 af to have this a7 for reviews. But we have moved away from the topic - Sonev's lenses are really expensive.

              • anonym

Arkady, I'm sorry if I suddenly hit you with anything.
I understand. I will say even more I like your site.
But lenses for Sony UPC are not only expensive, but also too big.
That's all I wanted to say.
And the site of Radozhiv is good. Perhaps even the best. The most truthful.
Good luck to you Arkady and your site. You're doing fine.

              • Arkady Shapoval

Thanks. I will try not to launch it, however, recently, "hands do not reach" to some really useful recordings, although there are a lot of ideas and something to share :)

              • Kostyan

                ORGASM!

            • Lynx

It’s just that you have never once given a real, clean, uninhibited Sonya through a vein.
Otherwise they would not have reasoned, but fled for a dose. )))

        • Lynx

yeah. especially considering the price of 50-140.

    • SNOW

You are the only one who told the truth !!!

  • anonym

Arkady is tired. Enough to block by IP already. I have already spent 600 IP addresses on your site. I don’t have time to change how you ban me.

    • Arkady Shapoval

And what do I have to do with it? Ban Ray. Ray is always right.

    • Lynx

“I rode for 100 miles to say how indifferent you are to me!” (from)

      • anonym

Here Arkady is disingenuous. "Added to the black list are always on business - since someone has been insulted and is already there." Except for the Lynx, of course. He can be rude for some reason. Our main troll and photos are relevant and phrases are strangers from the forum ready…..

        • Arkady Shapoval

Firstly, the Lynx was banned for a year, and secondly, he is the editor of Radozhivka, so he has certain rights :)

          • Lynx

why are you alienating the electorate from the electorate? ((

          • anonym

Are you serious? Ie this is the work of the editor ... Hmm .. All the more strange, knowing about your, Arkady, craving for everything Japanese, and therefore for order, culture, solidity.

            • Arkady Shapoval

Seriously https://radojuva.com.ua/about-radojuva/, Lynx, however, likes to play pranks in the comments.

              • anonym

Usually kittens who shit are poking their nose in the shit. If you don’t get the truth, then what can I say. The smelly cat is given a full carte blanche for Daden, let me just cuss in this comment.

        • Lynx

          you are so cute!

  • lesa

Yeah. Sony's lenses are very good (the same 55 / 1.8)
But the price, especially nowadays, is biting. And there are no old proven inexpensive AF analogs, and adapters are not comme il faut.
But in general, Sonya fellows. In fact, they are now one of the engines of the industry.

    • lesa

Here is the news, by the way:
Sony has announced plans to attract $ 3,6 billion in investments by issuing stocks and convertible bonds. The company will direct the funds received to the development of matrix production for cameras and smartphones, including the new iPhone and Samsung Galaxy models.

  • Vasily

Yes, horse prices. The lenses are certainly good. But the problem is probably the autofocus speed. Mirrorless cameras are still a problematic technology in terms of autofocus. And if we add to this the eerie colors of Sony's new matrices (the notorious d800, d600, d610, and ilse7), it becomes clear that autofocus optics from Sony at horse prices are equipment for freaks.

  • Alexander

“The notorious d800, d600, d610 and ilse7” - shta ??? Are you reading some kind of senile or using LSD?

  • Zmitser

Large and expensive, that would immediately see why he gave his hard-earned money

  • anonym

Again, some faceless "buckets", never stylish. The Distagon 35 / 1,4 is again a hefty one, the Zonnar 85 is probably good, but why with a stabilizer? ... In Sony there is some kind of modern management, not logical and tasteless.

    • Eugene

"Zonnar 85 is probably good, but why with a stabilizer? ..."
Because the stub is pleasant and useful, and if it is not needed, it simply turns off in the camera menu.

  • Dmitry K

Arkady, did you sell 5d? Bliiin. And I think that the canon is no longer overlooked, but every manual is overlooked. Eh. Can we stir up another company? Sonya selling and collecting money for 6d or the second nickle? reprofiling into canon))) Joke, of course, but suddenly hooked

    • Arkady Shapoval

No one canon just gives a review. Someone recently yelled about 24-105L, but disappeared somewhere.

  • anonym

And why at all sorts of photo flea markets the number of leaked Canon cameras is 4 times more (per capita) than the number of leaked Nikon cameras? I mean if we compare devices of the same class Mark II (III) - D800-e, 6D - D600-e, etc.

    • Lynx

because the overwhelming majority of "typabudfathograph", grab the canon, and after playing enough - merge. In some cases - “due to the fact that the camera is younger, the camera is better then the result will be better” - they sell small change, scrape it into a better carcass and hope that finally it will be cooler! In very rare cases, they really develop, they buy an older carcass, and the younger one is drained after a while as unnecessary.
      .....
Nikons, in the first place, buy a little less, and secondly, the younger Nikons are cheaper and better than the Canon ones, and you can squeeze out more from them before switching to a new technique - people learn to shoot. Thirdly, a lot of Nikons are bought by people “who just need a camera for a home photo”, and they are not going to merge or change it.

    • BB

Perhaps the Lynx is partly right, but the greater likelihood of this phenomenon is the market share: according to 2010 data, the share of the global market for Canon digital cameras was 19%, Nikon's share was 11,6, that is, one third less, and in countries The CIS, as far as I remember, has an even greater advantage towards Canon (it was not possible to find fresh data quickly). On average, it turns out that for 2 used Nikon earbuds there are 3-4 Canon earbuds :-)

      • Lynx

oh yes, and 4 - there are simply more canons in some cities.
Although until recently we had 2-3 times more junior nikonas both on the secondary and on the streets.

    • Yarkiya

I read it, I thought, but it’s true. I have 9 friends with cameras, 7 with kenons and 2 with nikons (I can be considered the third). Of the kenonists, there is only one cool pro, a wedding specialist, a direct artist, seriously, I can give a link (not advertising if that). And one type of journalist (pontorez of course) but knows how to shoot. The rest bought to be, and why Kenon? Duc, the very cool in the world. And of the three Nikonists, only one bought Schaub Bulo, and my friend and I are rushing like plague where, from whom and what else to learn

      • BB

My friend a photographer (a canonist, but he himself is not strong in technical aspects) periodically gives his cameras to the service. So the service technician complains that the canons are difficult to maintain, while for the Nikons it is easier to replace some unit - the internal layout of the camera is more thought out :-)

        • Lynx

yes, canons are more expensive in service. They are generally more in need of service than nikon.
In this regard, Nikon's professional design (for now) has an advantage

      • Lynx

        drive exile, curious.

      • Chilimov Mikhail

And I'm an amateur amateur from the provinces. Yuzal only film Zenit TTL, FED, RolleyFlex 6 × 6. But I will buy Sony A9 and Nikon D850 anyway. Well, three glasses for each. Better yet, Hasselblad 6 × 6, but there are not many glasses for it. Yes, and a pensioner is expensive for me. And Sonya A9 och. good, and glass too.

    • anonym

Clearly, thanks for the thoughts to everyone, just before buying a new camera you think “I'll see what people get rid of most of all, and what they cherish, use and don’t sell”, and then there are other aspects, it turns out) Or maybe Sony can dilute a little now I think - one thing is unclear, what is wrong with autofocus at Sony? After all, the video shoots very well and is no worse than the major brands (s), logically, should autofocus be lightning?

      • Alexander

You murize a topic that has been discussed a trillion times. Do not be lazy and look for information on this “What to choose”. And you will find gigabytes of "arguments" which system to choose.

  • anonym

Yarkiy What is your blood type and Rh factor?

    • Yarkiya

You did not confuse the address? Doctors down the hall?

      • anonym

Well, why so rude at once? I’m just doing a social experiment, so I asked. Okay, if it's hard for you to answer, then thanks for that.

        • Yarkiya

Well, if you do not want rude answers, do not ask rude questions. And if you didn’t mean anything rude or impudent, ask a question so that it would be clear to everyone, and not just you. How do I know that you are experimenting socially, I don’t know how to read thoughts, yes, and try not to Poke to strangers.

Do you still need my blood type?

          • anonym

Well, it would be possible if you do not mind. Sorry for the discomfort caused. And excuse Arkady for writing off-topic.

            • Yarkiya

Confused? Well what are you. In the photo blog, someone unknown, without explaining the reasons, asks about the blood type and Rh factor. This does not bother me at all.

Are you going to finally explain why you need this?

              • Arkady Shapoval

I ask customers for the zodiac sign :)

              • Lynx

What if he is a surgeon? what if he’s getting ready to save your life after a tragic bite of a cruel pack during your macro photography?
                ....
but in general - it all rolls into a galimous flood. It’s time to round off.

              • Yarkiya

Surgeon? There, it was like talking about sociology. Perhaps he wants to deduce the dependence of the choice of system on the blood group and the influence of the Rh factor on the crop factor.

For example, the first group is, say, Kenon, and the second Nikon, the third let it be Sony, if there is another one, then pentax. Well, rhesus positive is a fullframe, respectively, a negative crop.

                Here's some nonsense ...

              • Arkady Shapoval

The full apogee of flooding in Radozhiva has been reached. Hurray comrades! Desu!

  • Yarkiya

The sign of the zodiac is a good question and, moreover, it is not binding, but here ... I just want to call Malysheva to ask "is this normal?" :)

  • anonym

Why is this question good, all the more non-binding? Arkady, I wonder why (I'm talking about signs)? Is Aries photographed differently than Scorpio? Don’t write an article about it?

    • Arkady Shapoval

I will not write an article, but in short, constantly working with new people, you notice more and more similarities between them.

      • Star boring. Igor

and 20 years ago I called a sign offhand, which usually shocked people :) There are some certain features ... The only thing is that the person you are looking at should like :)

    • Yarkiya

Well, it’s not the blood type that they should ask, and not the size of the boots and the tests from the clinic. Simply, many still believe that their behavior somehow depends on the signs of the zodiac.

      • Lynx

Your unbelief upsets the rams and annoys the scorpions.

        • Yarkiya

My fingers itch to start a religious discussion, set fire to the Inquisition bonfire and burn a couple of amateur photographers, but time is short, I'm at work. :)

  • Good man

Yarkiy, okay. Stop swearing :) You won’t say so, you won’t say that. Forgot.
There is another dilemma, and you can help us all, because according to your comments you have a D7100 camera. It is necessary that you check something and write us the answer, is there such a feature in your cell?
And the answers of users of other cameras would be interesting, can their cameras do this?
    The essence is as follows.
I have been the owner of the D800 for half a year already and only today I learned one good news.
I decided to share it with everyone who has this camera. They will be pleasantly surprised.
The fact is that by default, when you change the crop mode in the camera to 5: 4 or crop 1.5 or crop 1.2, the future frame in the viewfinder is simply outlined with a thin black frame, due to which it is difficult to imagine the future frame and frame it accurately. So, in the D800 if you go to the "PENCIL" menu and then to the "A5" item and set the value "OFF" (that is, turn off the illumination of the AF points in the viewfinder), then after this procedure the crop modes in the viewfinder will be masked by the black fill of the viewfinder, and only the crop area of the frame will be visible, due to which framing will be facilitated at times, and becomes similar to top-end camera models such as D3, D3s, D4, D4s. It would be interesting to check if there is such a feature in the D700 and other oldies? And in the D7100 it will probably be the same.

    • Star boring. Igor

Sorry, why shoot in crop on FF?

      • Star boring. Igor

        Thanks for answers!

    • Arkady Shapoval

On the D700 and most other cameras, there is no field dimming and it is really unnerving, as I mentioned in the article on “Crop Evolution”. Of those that I reliably know, Nikon D2xs can do this in hi speed crop mode (when sausage is 8fps).

      • Arkady Shapoval

But still, I was wrong. D700 can do that too.

        • Star boring. Igor

Arkady, pliz, in a nutshell - why can the cropped mode on ff be useful? Like "reach" the focal length?

          • Lynx

            Yes.

          • Good man

Igor, I'm not Arkady, but I will answer, personally, I sometimes shoot in a 4: 5 crop mode when I do vertical shots, sometimes it turns out more aesthetically. But crop 1.2 and crop 1.5 you correctly said to reach sometimes I use it on the D800, because I have the longest 50mm glass on the D800, and sometimes I make a kakbe 85ku out of it using a crop. I just always shoot in JPEG and never do processing, I try to cut everything with a carcass at once, because I shoot for myself, and I don't want to poke around in the photo, click-click, and the photos fly straight from the carcass to the tyrnet. I would also be glad if Nikon forked out for the 1: 1 mode so that it would be possible to shoot under Instagram right away, and perhaps I would like to have a 2.39: 1 Scope for pretty panoramas on a 20mm f2.8D fix. I wrote such a letter with the requirements of 1: 1 and 2.39: 1 to Nikon's headquarters in Japan, I told them to do the firmware and business, but silence in response ...

            • Arkady Shapoval

On Sony a7 I use crop mode to record video, crop crop on the sides everything that is more personal that I do not need in the frame. It’s convenient when using the fix, in fact it turns out the possibility of 1.5x zoom.

    • Yarkiya

Checked, the 7100 does not work.

    • Alexander

Guys, sometimes it's useful to read the instructions! Everything is written about it. I'm a little shocked even ...

    • Alexander

And that frame is quite visible and it is convenient to crop it. Of course, this is all purely individual, but when you write that when you turn on any mode and that frame is practically invisible in the viewfinder, then I get the impression that we are using different systems ...

    • Oleg

But wouldn’t it be better to frame the picture during post-processing, while having more options for composing the frame than initially limiting yourself to frames with some kind of conditional crop?

      • Arkady Shapoval

You can immediately see the finished result, or at least the boundaries of the future frame, which is sometimes psychologically much more pleasant than sitting out at the computer.

      • Yarkiya

Of course it’s easier, but it is necessary to strive for framing in place. It great develops an artistic look and understanding of composition.
Post-processing is only a tool for fixing composition nuts or a complete change in frame construction.
In any case, this and that apply. If only the end result would please the author and the viewer.

      • Lynx

to do this, you need to REMEMBER about each picture that you wanted to crop, and then also crop it, “selecting” the desired proportions. Instead of taking off what you need right away.

    • Yevaleshkin

The D810 also dims when the dots backlight is turned off, but the d750 does not know how, just checked on both cameras.

      • Yevaleshkin

cheated 750ku for some reason this feature. That is so!

  • Good man

By default, all cameras will be in the viewfinder like this.
Just a thin frame, which nifiga is not visible.

  • Good man

And after the settings that I brought in, it will be like this, everything unnecessary in the viewfinder will fill in black, and it will be very convenient to build a frame.

    • Arkady Shapoval

Nikon D2xs can do that, and most likely other cameras too.

    • Peter Sh.

      Yes, the d610 also works.

  • Good man

I wonder if the D90, D7000, D7100, D700, D300s can do this. If anyone has these cameras, write what you get? Can other cameras mask the viewfinder with these menu settings? The D800 may, and I'm pleasantly surprised.

    • Lynx

dragging then the d90, d300 and seemingly 7000 voobsche no crop.

    • Pastor

Yes, the d7000 has no crop, unfortunately.

    • Dmitriy

These are originally cropped cameras :) What else is there to crop? :)

      • Yarkiya

This is you in vain, at 7100 out of 24 megapixels it is well cut. But for 7000 out of 16 megapixels it’s not very much.

        • BB

Even 16 MP if you “cut” it in half, then 8 MP will remain. This is enough to print a 20x30cm photo. (300dpi).
On the D5100 I periodically “cut off” the excess :-)

      • Lynx

the d7100 has a similar FF "crop" function, bringing up to 2X. It is extremely convenient with telephoto lenses, to get a 200 or 300 from a 400 or 600 mm fixture.

        • Yarkiya

Played - played with this crop mode, and found nothing interesting in it except for increasing the speed of continuous shooting by 1 frame. And it is easier to depict a telephoto by cropping it in the editor. In ovi, the picture does not increase if the crop mode is turned on.

  • Yarkiya

Here is an example, this is less than the fourth part of the frame. Geranium pollen, not red caviar.

  • Vasily Artamonov

It seems to be an article about Sony lenses, and more than half of the comments are about Nikons, or even shit.

    • Lynx

All the same people are adults, well, not really talking about Sonya really! )))

    • Yarkiya

Articles about Sony are only for seed. :)

  • Scarecrow

It is interesting that Sony produces a luxurious autofocus Zeiss Planar 85 / 1.4 for A-mount Sony, while an autofocus Zeiss Sonar 85 / 1.8 is used for a mirrorless E-mount Sony. Honestly, I didn't understand what the joke was. According to numerous photographers, Sonnar is better for portraits and planar for sharpness. Why planar for DSLRs, and sonnar for mirrorless cameras - even kill I don't understand.
“Sleep is a dark matter. Not subject to research ”.

    • Arkady Shapoval

Everything is simple, while under E they only begin to make sane lenses. The bayonet is young.

      • Scarecrow

In fact, I thought a little here and a terrible suspicion flashed across my mind - The point is, of course, in size !! After all, Bezieokalki are positioned as “compact” systems! Next, go to the B&H website and know the staff:

        Sony 85mm f / 1.4 Carl Zeiss Planar T * Prime Lens has Filter Thread = 72 mm Pitch, Dimensions (DxL) = 7.49 x 8.10 cm and weight 650 grams.

        Compare this to:

        Zeiss Batis 85mm f / 1.8 Lens for Sony E Mount has Filter Thread = 67 mm x 0.75 mm Pitch, Dimensions (DxL) = 81 x 92 mm and weight 475 grams.

If we remember the difference in the focal lengths of A-mount and E-mount cameras, it becomes clear that in conjunction with a camera, the device will look much shorter and 200 grams lighter.

That’s the whole answer why planar and not sonnar. This is what we are thinking about drawing and color reproduction, while Sony is thinking how to bomb suckers. Who will understand sonnar or planar there? The main thing. that the lens is stupidly shorter and lighter, and then even the grass does not grow!

        • Arkady Shapoval

          Particularly lightweight SELP28135G FE 4 / PZ 28-135, one and a half times heavier than Nikonovsky 24-120 / 4

          • Scarecrow

Arkady, zooms, that's another matter. Nobody expects anything good from them. And considering that this is not Zeiss, but completely Sony - I practically have no doubt that in terms of the picture SELP28135G FE 4 / PZ 28-135 is MUCH MUCH MUCH worse than Nikon's 24-120 / 4. Zeiss are beautiful, but Sonia's own works are terrible at the moment. Sonya herself understands this - that's why she rivets autofocus Zeiss for her system.

            • Arkady Shapoval

So all the same - where am I there with frantic enthusiasm about Sony A7 performing?

          • Scarecrow

And besides, Arkady, you are comparing the E-mount with Nikon, and this is not entirely correct. It is more correct to compare this SELP28135G with some kind of autofocus Minolta 28-135 / 4, which by the way were even heavier and longer. And Nikon is unlikely to share his secrets with Sonya. Nikon's optics are beautiful - you can't argue with that.

            • Arkady Shapoval

So all the same - where am I speaking with frantic enthusiasm for Sony A7?

          • Eugene

“SELP28135G FE 4 / PZ 28-135, one and a half times heavier” This is a special lens for videographers, where weight is secondary.

            • Arkady Shapoval

Then where is a similar lens for photographers?

              • Eugene

There are currently no other new 28-135.
But there is a similar crop lens 18-105, also optimized for video.

    • Eugene

Because the Zeiss Batis 85mm f / 1.8 is not a classic Sonnar, it is a new scheme with unique characteristics. There are no analogues yet, and it is not entirely correct to compare with the “other 85mm” - they are different.
Those wishing to use the classic 85mm Planars put them through adapters.

  • Scarecrow

I apologize for the offtopic: specifically for Trekhsotkovich, a link to the comparative Eutifee tests of Fuji X-E1 and Pyadvak:
    http://evtifeev.com/26914-obzor-fotokameryi-fuji-x-e1.html
    http://evtifeev.com/27081-obzor-fotokameryi-fuji-x-e1-ch-2.html
    http://evtifeev.com/27219-obzor-fotokameryi-fuji-x-e1-ch-3.html

As expected, Fuji has completely merged. So, Pyadvak "tears everyone up" again. Here's your grandmother and Fuji X-E1. And I almost bought it. :( As for Sonya, it’s probably her future. Well, DSLRs don’t have a single chance. Look at least at Arkady’s frantic admiration for a very crude camera Ilsa 7.

    • Arkady Shapoval

Am, poke your nose at least on one of my frenzied delight from the A7?

      • Scarecrow

Indeed, I did not find frantic enthusiasm from Ilse 7. I apologize if I offended you. So to speak. You are just “very loyal” to her. She probably has really comfortable ergonomics, etc. BUT after looking at a lot of pictures from it on the net - I can say that the results that this camera gives - I absolutely do not like.

        • Arkady Shapoval

I am now a rabid fuji fan, if that.

          • Jury

            You used to love Fuji

    • Peter Sh.

Give me a mirrorless mirror that can instantly focus, not clog the matrix, and the JVI will not be funny. It is desirable that the colors were as in National Geographic magazines, and immediately. I’ll sell everything, hand over glass containers, and buy it.

    • Lynx

it is very strange to compare a 1-2 generation mirrorless and a penny ...
With XT1, let it be compared with top-end glasses ... and even not in the “break the hole to the size of the matrix” mode. and see what, where and how.

      • anonym

Yes, X-T1 is unnecessary, even X-E2 will put the second nickle on the shoulder blades.
And what that guy writes is like Canon’s paid propaganda to the masses.
At the end of the article, I was also pleased with the video of Kai Wong from DTREV who also “loves canon” while canon pays him. He is especially surprised by the pictures where there are glare on the floor of the frame from fuji :)
I specifically could not even get such a glare. Well, I don’t have any idea of the soapy photos of how he did it on the X-E1, the lens was smeared with Vaseline.

        • Lynx

well .. not that it will put it down, comparing the FF mirror and the cropped "ldf" is still not entirely correct, and the fujiks still have a few "assholes", because of which, for example, I gradually calmed down to fap on them, but in general, in no small amount number of tasks - more than a worthy competitor to the nickel, even making it.

          • Oleg

Lynx, if not difficult, a little specificity, what assholes about Fuj are we talking about? In addition to glass prices, comparable in value to the expedition to Mars. Because I myself am eyeing a compact system of mirrorless cameras, and increasingly looking in the direction of Fuji, but have not yet matured for a specific choice. Thank you in advance.

            • Lynx

              1. it's all the same glass and their price. on the other hand, you buy a pancake like 18 or 27 mm (awesome reportage focal, they say), for standing portraits and fashion - 35 / 1,4, or, with a big bubble 56 mm, theirs, and everything else is covered by manuals and norms.
              or 40-150 / 2,8, (by selling a car, a kidney and a telly) + pancake. and norms.
Seriously speaking, for the amount requested for Bush Xt1 (or the new x-t10), I have assembled a kit from the good old prof s5pro, three! native sb-700, 35 mm, 35-105, and 70-300VR. and even small things on racks and umbrellas will remain.

But there is really no variety, especially inexpensive lenses. Television class 70-300, for example, no word at all. 85, 105, 135 fixes (so beloved on film, under which they mow) - also not!

2.Fuji doesn’t have a good flash operation. NEITHER one carcass has high-speed synchronization, i.e. shutter speeds higher than 1/200 for puff are closed at all, and are unlikely to be opened. those. goodbye to “highlight the face of a girl in the shade with a bright background, outside in the summer”. And will not, judging by the answers from "close to Fuji."
              3. Fuji has no family particularly useful flashes. one - and so-so, the rest - rather external frogs.
              4. There is no system similar to Nikon's CLS (it is VERY useful for me on the hedge now.). Those. in fact, any work with flashes is only with IR or radio synchronizers in the manual power setting mode.
For “street reporting and work in the studio” under 1-2 frames this may not be critical, but in some places it may be, but here everyone decides for himself.

              5. there are overshoots with metering, x-e2 was very fond of "pulling out shadows" on his own in contrasting shots with the "hardware method" - i.e. simply by increasing the exposure time of a commercial by 2, and pressing down the light programmatically. The x-e2 seems to have had problems with imaging in the studio without pilot lights.

              6. tightness with the secondary market ... ie. if you have money, you can collect everything new, but if you are not particularly rich, then every glass, puff, and even a fucking wardrobe trunk for 3 thousand, or bablok for 10-13 is somehow pendulous. or work with manuals.

              7. EVI. here the question is purely “take and test”. I had a chance to look at X100s in evi mode. I won't say what impressed me (and he is there an analogue of хе2, as far as I know). Those. Of course, how to indulge - you can, but how "constantly and on the main .." Actually, that's why take - either x-m1 (without EVi in general) or something already top-notch - HT1 or xt10.

              8. all the little things of groans such as small batteries, questions “why are these buttons here?” And others - let’s go on the side, this is either a tribute to the dimensions, or “everything is normal, you just don’t know how to cook”.

              9. there is absolutely no intelligible data on the system performance. for Nikon, with his shutter mileage, everything is more or less clear, but here - figpoymi.

              10. There is absolutely no data on DD, and other characteristics of the image, all the data on the fuji are mired in a pile of network jeans.
Although you can see comparative photos for Fujik, the second nickle and something else on Martynov’s blog.

              11. Vaunted focusing system. I have worked in a combination of D3100 (not the fastest, as you know) and Hm-1, both with 35 mm. Fujik sucked in like a vacuum cleaner. Even on a bright day, it was worth going into the deep shadow under the viaduct - he was already fidgeting helplessly. d3100 focused without even sneezing.
They say that now, and on older carcasses, this problem is much more abruptly solved (new firmware, well done in this fujik! And phase sensors in older ones), but based on the pessimistic infusion, I will assume that the system of top-end fuji cameras is slightly better than the initial nikon system. Or somewhere just below / at the level of "advanced amateur".
Focusing oddities. For example, on x-e2, the tracking system follows only the selected point, i.e. if the subject moves across the frame, it does not run after it with “dots”, but focuses on the selected one, regardless of what is there. With this, for example, if “face control” is selected, then it tracks moving faces in the frame SIMPLY AMAZING! without any glitches.
Maybe they’ve corrected it now, I don’t know.
              ....
those. In short, Fujika's approach to its system is still amateurish. From the category “the main thing is to press the trigger, and the masterpiece will turn out itself”. Such “modern amateur rangefinders with good glass for wealthy hobbyists. But not designed for professional reporting or similar work.
If for DSLRs like Nikon or Canon it is possible to type both “just an amateur” and a professional system, then in Fuji, unfortunately, only “non-amateur”.
On the other hand, a friend of mine sold his D300S with glass a year ago, bought an X-e2 (immediately with a more or less suitable 16-50 / 2,8-4) and just removes the family “for himself”. And he is satisfied, although he honestly admits that he doesn’t want to “shoot seriously”.

              • Arkady Shapoval

                Thank you :)

              • anonym

Lynx I have been using Fujifilm X-E2 for half a year now and will correct you. Although in many ways you are right.
                1. Glass. Yes dear. But you write there are no glasses by type: televisions of the class 70-300, for example, are not from the word at all, but what about the XF55-200mm F3.5-4.8 is it not the televisions of 70-300mm taking into account the CROPE? you write that there is no 85mm, but what about the XF56mm F1.2 R, after counting for the CROP we get a gorgeous 85k, 105mm you are not right to replace it yet, the 135ka fix is already in the XF90mmF2R, again taking into account the CROP factor.
                2. There is no high-speed sync, here you are right, and this also sometimes upsets me after the transition from Nikon to Fuji. Fuji obviously sucks.
                3. I also agree with you, puffing at Fuja atstoy (an ardent fan of Fuji writes now, listen to people, no one pays me, I only say that I’ve been watching for half a year of using X-E2)
                4. I agree. You're right.
                5. Nothing X-E2 pulls, you're wrong. You just need to turn off AUTO DD and turn off a couple of items in the menu. About the fact that in the studio with the pilot light nothing is visible in the EVF and LCD is also a fairy tale of those who did not understand the menu, we go - "wrench number 1" - "screen setting" - "viewing the exposure in manual mode" - set OFF and o miracle, you can shoot even in the dark! There would be a desire.
                6. Here you are partially right. But I took with E-Bay from a Japanese for 30 thousand rubles FUJINON XF14 mm F2,8R and this is far from 47 thousand in the off center of fuji-Moscow!
                7. EVI after the DSLR needs to get used to, but when the sun is naughty on the street, it’s a joy to evaluate the photo taken in EVI, because you won’t see anything on the LCD mirror, even when you cover the screen with your hand. In general, when the sun is strong, I use EVI, in other cases I always shoot like a soap dish, just looking at the screen, making an exposure correction, I immediately see how the frame darkens or brightens, which allows you to take one frame with the desired exposure, instead of 3 frames at random how to do it on a DSLR.
                8. you are right.
                9. speak the truth.
                10. somewhere I read that Fuji X-E2 DD is very small, the sky is always knocked out, and it killed me! I wanted to DOS this site so that it crashes. Do not get fooled by this. X-E2 has a huge DD, especially if you put the DD 400 there and bright clouds are drawn, and everything that is visible in the shadow of the pitch. Photos are obtained one-on-one like on Nikon D800, only in Nikon it will still be necessary to pull the RAVs, and in Fuji everything in the jeep is edible.
                11. yes. Fujiki is, whatever one may say, reporting cameras, you should not expect Nikon D4 characteristics from them, you should understand that there are reporting cameras, and there are for leisurely shooting. If you earn money with a photo, then a SLR will be much more preferable.
And why didn’t you Lynx write the most important thing, that Fuji’s colors are suitable only for shooting people and BW. The landscape in Fuji is neither fish nor meat, the colors are not suitable for the landscape, even if you twist from RAW then you can’t wind anything worthwhile.

              • Lynx

                Anonymous:
                1. I meant “when setting, not crop .. ie. 70-300 on the crop (or Nikon's 550-300), 85 and 105 and 135 on the crop. EGF and FD still differ in pattern and other things. 58 / 1,2 is certainly good but…. half a tina from Nikon is 6 thousand on the secondary, 85 - 17)) as with 70 thousand. Those. I will add - there is not even a little bit of available fixes for fuji, not counting the “tolerably available 35 / 1,4 and a couple of pancakes.
                5. there were comparisons not in terms of "fuji one", but filmed exactly in tandem with DSLRs. Maybe they've already fixed it with firmware. I can't find the article, they filmed there in the east - in some kind of metropolis, and the yellow duck too.
                ....
used things even if they come across, are incomparable in price with a mirror. Although yes, with ebay it is already possible to fit bushy and save a little on this. but with a risk.
                7. And you don’t need to get used to the JVI at all)) but it’s really tastefulness, besides taking into account SUCH size and brightness of the JVI like the XT1.
                10. In any case, you need something "officially tested".
                ....
for landscapes - I will not say, but I suspect that any modern mirrorless camera focuses primarily on people / children / city. The rest is secondary.

            • Lynx

              BUT!
if you compare ONLY mirrorless compact systems, then I would still stop at:
              1. Sony and their new A-series (or whatever totype Nex7), if you need a fast, invisible “click” from the underground, and you will shoot on the machine. Small, grasping, sharp as Boris-razor, seemingly with very good focusing, climb into any pocket with pancakes. Their disadvantages - figs you can quickly and easily play with the settings. These babies are primarily designed for shooting in the machine (from espopara to ISO and filters). They are very fond of modern “André Bessons” and street photos “about the life of a big city. Same as home photo and kids. But dust in the eyes or “playing with settings” are not for them. Dull glasses, but for 1 fix and 1 zoom, you don't need anything else. drawing is not about them. And they're all ugly.

              2. olympic. All the disadvantages of fuja, plus a matrix with a crop of x2. And figs you can get something for them. Pros - looks like a super-duper-fancy professional DSLR for dwarfs.

3.fuji. All of the above in the previous post. Pros - the most “cute” system, with the most flexible settings “on the case” and the ability to “feel like a Creator and a stylish guy at the same time”. Beautiful glasses with interesting patterns. Cons - it is still "stylish amateur". and larger than sleepyheads.
And because of the peculiarity of the system, it makes sense to take only the youngest and cheapest (x-m1, X-a2) or the oldest Xt1 (comparable to a small DSLR already), xt10, models.

              4. Pentax was still like. Olik, but with a different label. )))
              .........
If (there was a sultan and had three wives) solved the issue with puffs (for example, good studios or battery-powered studios), I would take fuji. Moreover, a bunch of hm1 (ha2, or if Hm2 comes out) and top-end ht1 (dust and moisture protection and other aliens.)

Lynx is not fought on the X-M1 and X-A2; they focus only by contrast, which is probably why their focus speed seemed too slow. In X-E2, for example, focusing is in contrast + by phase detection sensors, due to which the focusing speed is 2 times higher. The X-E1, by the way, also had focus only in contrast, therefore it loses so seriously in the speed of X-E2. X-E2 is like an option for those who do not have enough money for X-T1 and X100s

It is clear that the younger mirrorless ones are inferior to DSLRs with their phase ..
                but “2 times from non-linking” is still non-linking. ))
I repeat - this is a matter of practical consideration. Phase should be faster, but I do not expect speed and tenacity of reporting from them. Rather, “they approached” the mirror.
X-e2, at the present time it is not really an option at all. The price is not much lower than a second-hand xt1, but the absence of a rotary screen (they removed it ???) and jambs with ergonomics are clearly not worth this dozen. Apart from little things in the form of weaker EVI and other "little things"
