Material prepared Arkady Shapoval.
In general, I would gladly send my Fuji X-E2 to Arcadia together with 27mm and 14mm glasses, but I live in Russia where the post office and customs open packages with i-phone or other valuable packages and put stones or potatoes in place of the phone, so I won’t tempt fate. But I would very much like Arkady to feel Fuji X-E2 for a week and tell his opinion.
Sony full frame mirrorless lenses are healthy, scary and expensive. Yes, the quality is excellent, but what is the point of overpaying if the main advantage of a mirrorless carcass is lost - compactness? Unclear. Not practical.
Here I am about the same. They are huge and this is their main minus which covers any pluses.
Macro on a width of 14mm f2.8 Fujinon. With Fuji shirik can also be makrikom.
Well, what is this macro? This is not even a close-up. Here is a lizard macro.
And as be macro.
And also kakbe macro.
Yes, and whale Nikon at 18mm will be such a macro
Not to be unfounded, here's a camera JPEG with the Fuji X-E2 + 14mm f2.8 fujinon.
Pay attention to the dynamic range, you can see the clouds, and all the shadows are plums. And this is on f2.8 aperture and even shot under the scorching dinner sun, in the back (visible on the shadows on the plums) camera JPEG. This shot was made on DD 200, but it was possible to put DD 400 in general.
“The range of Sony E-mount full-frame lenses is still very small, lacking the classic professional lenses of the 16-35 / 2.8, 24-70 / 2.8, 70-200 / 2.8, 85 / 1.4, 135/2 classes, etc. ., there are also no cheap and affordable lenses of class 50 / 1.4, 50 / 1.8, etc. "
We consider fifty dollars:
1) sprinkled SEL50 1,8, unique, maybe. stub + good drawing. And inexpensive.
2) Sonnar 55 1,8, unique in technical parameters (see tests) and a fifty-fifty portrait picture, there are no direct analogues, the prices are from 800, i.e. in _ own_class_ are quite normal.
3) Loxia 50 - Planar honed to shine, fans of the Zeisso-Leiko-Planar installation are delighted. cheaper than similar Leeks.
4) Touit macro 50 2,8 - macros.
There are 16-35 / 4, 24-70 / 4, 70-200 / 4, and this is more than logical for a mirrorless system, autofocus doesn’t care, /2.8 or 4.
And the weight and price are much less. The quality of the same 70-200 / 4 is excellent. stop back and forth ... but gain in weight and size.
Makrushnik 90 / 2.8 is still a little expensive, but this is the start of sales, 70-200 / 4 also cost 1500 at the start, and now there are, starting from 1200.
Zeiss 85 /1.8 is unique in the combination of the achieved technical parameters and portrait drawing, i.e. it cannot be compared with the old simple 85 /1.8, its price is also quite justified.
The cropped 10-18 is one of the best in its class. Price ... before the release of the cheap Canon 10-18 STM it was at the level of competitors, now the Canon 10-18 STM is the cheapest in this class.
Those. the line is small, but there are already many unique ones in it.
And what does the cropped and manual lenses have to do with it?
Despite the fact that the Sony E system includes both cropped and FF lenses. Moreover, all of them can be used both on crop and on FF cameras.
Loxia manual lenses, etc. are also part of the Sony E ecosystem, this is an indisputable fact, but whether someone likes them or not is a personal matter for everyone.
Well, in this article we are not talking about the crooked, or about the manual. But, of course, you need to justify the system by any means :)
Why justify? The system is, in fact, neither add nor subtract. Zeiss' unique line-up of chic new manual focus lenses is a feature of the system.
Screen and EVI make their use very convenient.
Stunned! Sonya handsomes, 24-70 / 2,8 70-200 / 2,8 85 / 1,4. 11 petal diaphragm on the last two, bravo!
Maugli, did you see their price? Look, rejoice.
It seems like 2200 for 24-70 and 1800 for 85-ku. And then Canon and Nikon give away their free =) By the way, Nikon has been raising prices for optics in the Japanese market since 2016.
Nikonovskie 85 1.4g and 24-70 for about $ 1.5k are new + a significant market for used equipment.
I agree that it is expensive, but for example: the average price of a Canon EF 85mm f / 1.2L II USM on market.yandex.ru today is 143 rubles. The Central Bank rate for today is 900, a total of 76,4609 dollars. The price of bhphotovideo.com is 1893 dollars. The NIKKOR 1999mm f / 85G at bhphotovideo.com really costs $ 1.4.
Good day. Tell me which lenses are suitable for the Sony A7 photo card for shooting video. compact and weighed little, with autofocus or with manual AF. third-party manufacturers.
Hello.
My question is, the Sony A7m3 camera has an FE mount (35mm) whether it is possible to put lenses with E (DX) on it without an adapter.
And what is the difference.
Of all the sevens of Sony, only the A7 m3 has the FE mount E. The rest are E.
I’m not familiar with Sonya yet.
Explain please.
All full-frames have an FE mount, it is mechanically the same as E. The only difference is that cameras with an E mount are designed primarily for cropped lenses. Also, you can install a lens from the crop on a full-frame camera. In this case, there will either be a vignette or you need to switch the camera to APS-C mode
Thanks for the reply.
Good luck to you
Tell me, please, can I install a Sigma 18-300mm F3.5-6.3 DC Macro OS HSM C lens on a Sony a7 II camera without an adapter? Thanks in advance.
Arkady, not so long ago a new lens appeared for the full-frame Sony E at an attractive price viltrox 85mm f1.8. It would be interesting to have a higher opinion of him.
I can't figure it out, is everything in sony E like on canon ef / ef-s? Full-frame lenses are designated FE, and cropped lenses are either E or E? Will crop mode be turned on when cropped to full frame? Is it possible to mount a full frame lens on a cropped Sony?
Yes, it is possible (not like EFS)
Oh, I would like a complete list of all lenses from all manufacturers for Sony FE
A complete list of autofocus lenses is right there, only a couple of manufacturers produce af: Tamron, Sigma, Tokina, Viltrox, Samyang, Zeiss Batis, Yongnuo, TTArtisan and their links are right there.
Vitayu, Yaki is good not too expensive, can you take it on a Sonya for an interior? ☺️ Hourly, Dyakuyu!
Manual - from LAOWA (for every taste), or fence with an adapter, for example, for Canon EF-> SONY FE
Autofox - Samyang: 14/2.8, 18/2.8, Viltrox: 16/1.8, Sigma 17/4C DN
