S 5 pro. No, but he's the coolest.

    • Lynx

      yes!

    • Jury

For unhurried shooting - S5Pro! Yes, and I'm happy with it :)

      • anonym

        super!

  • Andrei

I have a nikon d5100. Satisfied with the fact that it has a good matrix with a reasonable resolution for an amateur. The downside is that I shoot mainly on manual optics (there is no metering and focusing). Overall a great entry-level camera.
Today I consider the Sony A7 to be the ideal camera for my tasks. At the current exchange rate I will sit for a long time on nikon.

      • Igor

I also have 5100! For that money, I took 2 years ago for only 4200 UAH. excellent fotik in terms of price / quality. I do not plan to change yet.

        You have great photos)

    • Anatoly

      Similarly.
      I own two Nikon D5100 and D5200.
      Both devices are wonderful.
At one time there was a Sony A58 - I did not like the camera at all - primarily because of the terrible noise.
(Her direct competitors should be Coolpix and PowerShot low and medium price ranges)
Sony, of course, does not look at all against Nikon.

      • Segrey

But nothing that Nikon has a matrix from Sony?

        • Andrei

Everyone knows this, just in slt (with the same matrices from nikon) a translucent mirror that takes about 30% of the light, so noise appears earlier.

        • Anatoly

not “Nikon has matrices from Sonya”, but “some matrices from Nikon are from Sonya”
How to take the same ruler D5 ** - it contains Sony-Toshiba-Nikon matrices
How to say “Nikon has matrices from Sonya”, one can say exactly the same “Nikon has matrices from Toshiba” (in the D5100-D5500 line, one matrix from Sonya and from Toshiba and two models with matrices from Nikon) .. In the D3 * line. There are no matrices from Sonya at all ... Only Nikon's own ones .. In the D7 * line ... - about miracles .. one matrix from Sonya and all the same that was already in D5 * and two matrices from Toshiba ...

In general - Seryoga heard a ringing, but he does not know where he is ..)). I heard the guys say that somewhere Nikon seems to have some kind of matrix from Sonya - he decided to show off his erudition ..))

Andrei has already described the rest perfectly.

    • Eugene

The same problem, there is a D5100 that seems to suit everyone, but I often use manual glasses and it’s very bad without metering, I look in the direction of the d7100 from DSLRs, and with mirrorless Pts I like the Fujifilm X-T1, but with the current rate I will sit on the d5100 for a long time.
Here is my flickr if that, https://www.flickr.com/photos/115476152@N04/

      • Lynx

take thousand from your hands for 10 rubles d200. will be more than suitable.

        • Eugene

I already thought about the D200, but have not yet decided, I would like to shoot them for the test, but so far no one has come across.

          • Lynx

and then what will be decided? need to take and take off.
The shutter button for him, like everyone else, in the same place. )))
            or Fujik-ghoul can.

  • Mick jager

I use Canon 1100d and consider it cool)))
    Dream - Canon 5d mark3.

1100 does not give such “colors”. with all due respect: this is a re-photoshop, not a photograph.

      • Nikita

But what about digging into the white balance?

        • anonym

You can even dig deeper into your nose. This does not change the fact that you have to try very hard to “squeeze out” such colors. and 1100 is perfectly normal canon. I myself had once.

  • Jury

    1. Nikon D700. I bought it 5 months ago with the knowledge that it is somewhat outdated and does not even know how to shoot a video. I was attracted by professional ergonomics, price and bold pixel - I don’t have top-end lenses, so this is important for me. I have never been disappointed.

    2. In my understanding, the best camera is Nikon Df, because it has an improved sensor, smaller dimensions and retro-ergonomics compared to the D700. However, I don't see any reason to switch to it now.

    • Arkady Shapoval

      85 1.8 quite a suitable lens :)

      • Jury

My favorite glass is “for the soul”. :) Nice soft picture + perfectly conveys volume.

  • Jury

    D200
good in that it gives an excellent picture right away) very nice colors
    cool ergonomics
    unbreakable brick
    convenient work with manual optics

    I want Sony 7s
12 megapixels for the eyes, but the good work in the dark is that I need more than high resolution, I do not want a DSLR, due to the size and inability to conveniently use such a bunch of (manual) optics

    • Jury

      but Karinka

      • Oleg

Yuri, a very nice and warm portrait. Let me ask you, what kind of light sources were used?

        • Jury

          thank you)
          light source - window)

          • Oleg

And I thought that the gold reflector was still illuminating on the left ...

            • Igor

The D200 has very soulful and warm colors. I personally never managed to get the “dead” (as in modern matrices)

            • Jury

all reflexes that are - natural, from the walls

      • Yuri Ivanov

        Very nice portrait.

    • Jury

      this is on Kaleinar 5

  • Nikitin Ivan

I have a Nikon d700, I took it off last fall, right before the price hike, I completely understood that the camera was out of date, the choice was between the second nickel (by that time I had sold all the optics from nikon) and d700, I chose 700 because of the bold pixel and the best noise figures , after I got used to it, I realized that I could not find a more convenient camera. I think the best camera is Fuji X-Ti One, if it had a full matrix, it would be perfect.

  • Valery Yavtushenko

    Good day
I love you at your site, once, as soon as you start taking pictures. Adding a handful of Nikon D5200 is a pretty good product. After reading the article (about two months to that) about Fujifilm S3 Pro I took it like a different device (thinking I'll switch to FullFrame). Poki scho bazhannya go dumb, scho tsіkavo)) The device is dazzling, do not marvel at svіy vіk. Vyshov on Shutterstock - the percentage of acceptance at rіvnі 60%, earnings 1,75 USD
It’s not bagato, but I’m for good at all the technical technique that I’ll deal with the photo of standard speeches: http://submit.shutterstock.com/?ref=2821078 (vibrate for veiled advertising)

Pitannya: I want to add a new top-end Nikor 24-70 f2.8 to the plans - what is the potential for the S3 Pro? Podilitsya dosvidom, be affection.
Once again, the pride for the neimarny yakisny resource, Arkadiy
    Sincerely

    • Arkady Shapoval

There is more to the question of whether you will reveal the potential of 24-70. In any case, this is a good investment.

      • Valery Yavtushenko

You will be felt - intimately, there is not much between. So and looking at the yogo - yak basic for the fake robot.

Zenit-3m No. 66048856 with a lens HELIOS-44 N 7025750 (in perfect working condition). Apparently, the only SLR in the world, made so precisely that it does not contain alignment gaskets, and therefore deserves the name EXACTA to a greater extent than the carrier of this brand.

    • Lynx

this is until the curtains showered, alas ((

      • Valentin Kalenichenko

My "triplets" (Zenit-3 and 3m) have native curtains (and 3 have a nylon cord) have been working honestly for half a century.

        • Lynx

so sho? the same with my friend, these curtains rained down a week after the purchase.

Samsung nx1000. In its price range, $ 120-170 is the coolest. For budding photographers with a limited budget, the find + the ability to put almost any lens for creative searches through an adapter. Not the ultimate dream, but will learn to take pictures or understand that photography is not for him, the best option in my opinion.

    • Alex sch

I support the NX1000 and the somewhat underrated Samsung NX line of cameras and lenses in general! As a camera for every day with a couple of interchangeable fix pancakes - surprisingly, there are no competitors!

    • Igor

I like, because almost all NX

Yesterday, Samsung snapped in conjunction with Jupiter8, a process for the sake of the process.

A cool device is one that you have and you like. I am not a professional photographer, carpenter, I work with wood. And the photo is for the soul. I have Nikon 5100, Nikkor 18-105 and 70-300 lenses, which I almost never shoot. For observing people - the very thing. Naturally, I want to gradually improve the optics park, there is room to strive for ... Link to one of the latest albums on my Yandex photos:

colors, just tear your eyes out, I also recommend a normal monitor

  • Jackie

Arkady, so dishonest! What is your choice? :)

    • Arkady Shapoval

For me it doesn’t matter. The potential of modern cameras with my head covers my own abilities. If there were no money restrictions, then canon 1dx, nikon d4s. Also, theoretically, I would be very happy if I did sony a7s II with normal focus or full-length Fujik. I'm not interested in medium format.

  • Grandfather Fedor

Initially, I did not want to say on this site what I use.
And I use the Canon 1100D which I bought with mileage a little over 8000 frames.
I consider it cool only in the category of the best price / quality / functionality ratio at the time of sale.
!!!! Cool :-) saving on the purchase of the camera was able to buy other equipment
    *** lenses:
    1 Samyang 85mm f / 1.4 AS IF Canon (without chip).
    2 Sigma AF 8-16mm f / 4.5-5.6 DC HSM Canon EF-S
    3 Canon EF 50 mm f / 1.8 II
    4 Whale Canon EF-S 18-55mm f / 3.5-5.6 IS II
*** Yongnuo YN-560 III Flash + YN-560 TX Controller for Canon
    *** Softbox for flash 60 x 60 cm Easy Box quick-folding
    *** reflector 5in1 110cm
    *** camera tripod
*** 1,9 meter soft box tripod
and a whole bunch of small things (filters, adapters, bags and cases)
If I change / take a crop, then it will most likely be a Canon 50D, if FF then a Canon 5Dm2

Photo from the category "Hurray, I bought a portrait portrait!"

    • Grandfather Fedor

A small explanation: in the phrase “price / quality / functionality” the concept of quality refers to the picture that can be obtained, and not to the manufacture of the camera, although I have no big problems with the build quality.

  • dnbnero

There is a desire to own Nikon d5300, because there is WiFi, a good matrix, and most importantly - the price in my city

    • Andrii

      have fun! :)

      • dnbnero

        What?

  • anonym

I have a Canon Powershot G16. This is a mirrorless camera, but there is a manual mode, semi-automatic, Wi-Fi. In addition, this camera is very light.
    Dreaming of a Canon EOS 5D Mark3

  • Alex de Kairoy

    D300.
in my opinion from the crop it is MOST-MOST !!!!
With him, you can almost everything and always.
I have been with him for a couple of years, but I will not part with him.
Well, in terms of camera coolness, which I do not have, it will probably be LEICA S2-P

  • N1GZ

I use the 350D myself, Tamron 55-200 4-5.6, and instead of the deceased whale 18-55, I bought Sigma 18-125 3.8-5.6 with a stub.
According to my feelings, for my purposes, the resolution is already almost enough, but grab, autofocus, and behavior at high ISOs are not enough.
So salivary flow at 7D, 18-35 1,8, 17-50 2,8 and 50-150 2,8. Well, some of the good manual 85-ok for the soul, and mb ultrawide (10-18 like interesting came out).

Yuzayu 7000 ran into the lack of ico (and the width is also auto-focus if it is darker (

    Sony Alpha A65 is also.
    I want a Sony A77-II already.

  • Charles

    I shoot on the D40 and D5100. I want a D750.
