Review of JUPITER-8M 2/50

JUPITER-8M 2/50 is an updated version of the lens JUPITER-8M 1: 2 F = 5cm P с internal mount Contax-Kiev RF.

JUPITER-8M 2/50 differs from JUPITER-8M 1: 2 F = 5cm P only in the little things:

  • 2/50 newer and 1: 2 F = 5cm P - older model. The new lens has a modern writing of parameters responsible for focal length and relative hole.
  • 2/50 slightly updated the design of the frame. Instead of a label for the aperture value in the shape of a triangle, version 2/50 has a label in the shape of a red dot.
  • versions have different enlightenment. Lenses 1: 2 F = 5cm P cast more blue, and 2/50 - lilac.

JUPITER-8M 2/50 looks like this:

Differences between versions 1: 2 F = 5cm P and 2/50 as an image I did not notice. Perhaps JUPITER-8M 2/50 yell a little less.

    There is Jupiter from Kiev.
But as you understand, you can't put it on Nikon-F.

There are tons of lenses with adapters. Helios, Ceizz from the GDR-ovskoy practice, some Japanese with an adapter ...
I can change everything in bulk to
    AF-S 16-85mm
    or
    AF-S 18-105mm

  • Sergei

Tell me, there is Jupiter 8m below m39. And in general, what other common modifications of the bayonet does he have other than Kontax-Kiev?

    • Arkady Shapoval

      only М39 and Kontaks-Kiev

  • Nadia

How to put on Nikon F? The adapter for М39-М42 does not fit, the thread at the lens is smaller than the thread at the adapter. Please advise another adapter. thanks

No secrets, if Ju-8 is under M39, then you need a transition ring M39-> M42 + adapter M42-> Nikon F... Now there is already one adapter separately M39-> Nikon F... Follow the links for their appearance and price.

There is such an adapter, but the lens mount is 5 mm in diameter on each side is smaller than the adapter (((
