Ahhhh !!! Super !!! Congratulations to you, Arkady and us with a new camera and future interesting reviews

  • Alex de Kairoy

    Congratulations!!!
Good luck in the new technology !!!

  • Vladimir Morgunov

and she shoots video, video? I want to do a test !!!!

    • Dmitriy

      Good purchase.
I myself use D300S, D7000 for work (reporting), I take off my films on film. I wanted to buy just this A7, until the second version was released. It will be interesting to see and read about her work.
Arkady, separate and big thanks to you for your work for the benefit of society. Nowadays, purebred and individualistic ideals are especially valuable.

  • Alexander Malyaev

Congratulations! How so? After all, like 2/3 scored only?

    • Arkady Shapoval

I added my money + the dollar rate (the money collected was converted into dollars, the dollar grew, instead of the expected 1400, 1235 was enough). In addition, because of the situation in the country, they looked at me very “askance” that I was collecting money for a “trinket” instead of collecting money, you know why. Therefore, I decided to quickly close the issue with the Sony a7.

      • Basil

Well, yes there is activation. is it even calm in Kiev?

    • Alexander Malyaev

And, I understood everything: the sale of “tangible assets” and a jump in the rate.

      • Arkady Shapoval

well, “tangible assets” were sold much earlier.

  • Victor

    Congratulations!
    Waiting for new reviews! )

  • Sergei

Congratulations Arkady. After some time, we are waiting for a detailed review of the camera itself, or additions to the existing review. Some nuances will still pop up during operation.
I propose to open a camp at LA-EA4, as I said. And those who want to collect for "you know what ..." let them collect what they want. But it is better to let knowledge be collected with the help of books, and not with the help of a zombie ... You just look and figure out what needs to be collected.

  • anonym

I understand that the camera review is ahead, but still what are the first impressions?

    • Sergei

The review has long been written. You can find it in the corresponding section.

  • Eugene

Congratulations, Arkakdiy! By common efforts, your work and INTUISIASM, the goal has been achieved. Let the camera shutter better than the shutter, you yourself know what. We are waiting for new reviews, and creative success !!!!!!!

  • Sashko Fujifilm X-E2

Congratulations Arkady. Let this camera serve you for a long time and help you make great new reviews. Thanks to everyone who participated in fundraising !!!

  • IgorS

Congratulations!!! I wish that enthusiasm and creative ideas do not fade away!

  • sergey

Congratulations to Arkady! And let Rey smile….

    • Arkady Shapoval

In the last video review for Vega-11U, the last track is OST from Eva, Rei is happy :)

  • Dmitriy

    Arkady congratulations!

I really respect your desire to collect and spend money on our common cause of the world - photography. In the near future I will also try to take part in your expenses a little. I wish Radozhiva prosperity!

  • Jury

Arkady, congratulations! Did you take it on the outlet? did you give gifts with the camera? :)

    • Arkady Shapoval

      Yes.

      • Jury

        it is doubly nice :)

  • Rodion

    Congratulations on your purchase!
PS How did you do the adapter ContaxRF-NEX?

    • Arkady Shapoval

I bought a homemade one, it cost me more than everyone else, there is also an adapter for Minolta, I just forgot to add it to the photo. I must say right away - there are two Jupiter-8 under Kontakst (black and white), they work fine, the shutter and the matrix do not cling. There will be reviews, but not all at once.

      • Rodion

I also want to do this, but I have a DSLR ...

  • olegs

Podakuni and Kosenko did a comparative review of this camera with Fuji, it is worse in all respects. So the choice of the A7 is quite amateurish.

    • anonym

podakuni receives dividends for advertising fuja - so it is not surprising

    • Lynx

Well, don’t be fooled by you on jeans!
secondly, distinguish - a full frame for manual optics reviews and a crop for “shooting anything”.

      • Sashko Fujifilm X-E2

Guys, about Fuji, Sashko is angry and disappointed, I kept praising Fujifilm X-E2, but now I take my words back. Fujifilm X-E2 is a good camera in terms of picture quality, nice JPEG color, settings, and control, it is great, BUT after a month and a half of active use and lugging around in my jacket pocket, my top and bottom covers rubbed (those that are silver, those that are on the official website says that they are made of metal alloys), and so BLACK plastic shone in the rubbing of the “metal”, in general, there is nothing but rage, I can imagine how the “metal” Fujifilm X-E2 will look like after half a year of active operation, when all “metal” ”The case will wear off, and black plastic will shine in the scuffs of the silver case. In general, the technology of their "metal case" is as follows: a black plastic case is taken, and silver paint is sprayed on it, and voila !!! we get a body made of “metal alloy”. Burn them in hell! Don't Buy Fujifilm X-E2 !!!
Sonya that Arkady took for himself is at least honestly made of plastic that will not peel off, and as Lynx said, the full frame will still be a little more interesting than the CROP from Fuja.

        • anonym

Sashko Fujifilm X-E2. Haste in judgment and change of religion deprived you of the title of alpha male. Try REKAM. Maybe you will be lucky this time.)

        • varezhkin

thrash story ... here's to you, grandma, and ... fuji.

        • Logitech

so write them a letter, demand it and it will be rewarded to you I heard one battery leaked in the apple mouse so the store sent money to him both for the battery and for the mouse and even a little more and they will also send you though xs sorry the comma does not work the point too

          • Sashko Fujifilm X-E2

Already wrote. They answered that the top and HALF (!) Of the bottom (the one that looks towards the lens) are made of WHITE metal (presumably aluminum), after which they are applied with a BLACK primer, and SILVER paint is already applied to the BLACK primer :) It turns out that I have only got SILVER paint and the BLACK primer is exposed, so when the primer is wiped and the white metal is exposed, then everything will be OK !!! They wrote that there was no reason for excitement, said that I would go with a silver-black peeled off camera, and said that it would even look VINTAGE :) They said that it happened because they had a white primer that suddenly ended, and 15.000 units of them were primed with that was, that is, black soil :)

            • anonym

Wow, then still rub and rub, the meaning in life appears!))

        • Sergei

Yes, tactilely you can understand - plastic or metal. The A7 does not have "honest plastic", but metal. Only the front pane is plastic.

      • olegs

people sell their full frame DSLRs to buy fuji - because the weight is much less, the photos are often better. A7 is the most affordable full frame option and the quality is appropriate

        • Arkady Shapoval

          nobody argues

        • Alexander

Yeah. Well, yes, of course))) There is such a thing as self-hypnosis. You want to believe it, but it is absolutely not true. I would not be surprised if you are a lucky owner of fuji))

  • Charles

    Congratulations, Arkady!

  • Oleg

    Arkady, CONGRATULATIONS!

Judging by the photo of the camera, there will soon be a test of my favorite Helios-103 lens. I have several Contact-Kiev lenses, in addition to a couple of Helios-103 pieces, there are Jupiter-11 and Jupiter-12 used as a souvenir, and there is Jupiter-8m (but you already have its test). I can transfer Jupiter-11 and Jupiter-12 to the test, without limitation of time, i.e. when it does, then it does.

    Best regards,
    Oleg

    • Arkady Shapoval

      If only Jupiter-11 is written “Jupiter-11 4/135” (and not “JUPITER-11 1: 4 F = 13,5cm P”) and it is under Kontaks-Kiev. But Jupiter-8M for Kontax-Kiev will be interesting, I don't have a version for Kontax.

      • Oleg

Jupiter-11 and Jupiter-8M are both under Contact-Kiev, I hope it will be possible to transfer this weekend. So I realized that Jupiter-12 is not necessary, because have your own?

        • Arkady Shapoval

          Once again, I do not need Jupiter-11, whose name is “JUPITER-11 1: 4 F = 13,5cm P”, I am only interested in another name “Jupiter-11 4/135”.

  • Oleg

I looked through the list of tested lenses, Jupiter-8m Contact-Kiev was not tested, I can also pass it on to the test, without any time limit

    • Arkady Shapoval

      It will be great.

  • I have

I have long had Helios-103 84g and two Jupiter-8M 69g and 60goda. The adapter did it myself. Used with J1. Now and here there will be reviews of these glasses in full frame, interesting. It's worth it. The Yu8M is soft, and the G-103 draws its film pattern noticeably and on the figure, it twists well.

  • I have

still would be interesting reviews of 2x and 3x lenses with
    cheap plastic soap dishes,
but they’ll have to be cut or twisted somehow,
    say masterpieces turn out

    • anonym

With such customization, the vignette will be wild, and instead of a photograph, you will get a view in the door gazok from a distance of about half a meter.

      • what

why do you think so. by the way, these soap are full-frame, so the lenses are great for Sony, you just don't fumble yet

        • anonym

So it was about film soap dishes? Well then, yes. Well, how to focus? With aperture, the question is again. And the output is lomography at best.

          • I have

so it is necessary to do a helicoid, everything is human, of course, if only as a nifiga, not a masterpiece of nifiga

        • Mikola Fedorovich

Do not stand the skin out

          • anonym

For sporting interest you can twist, but no more

    • Lynx

uh-huh ... and glasses and disassembled old theater binoculars.

      • what

you just have to guess. one la la

  • Go! Blin

    Great news!
Now we will be able to read your lens reviews from rangefinder cameras.

By the way, did you buy a Contax RF-NEX adapter from E-bay or did any of the familiar craftsmen bother with it?
I'd love to find a similar adapter from Kiev-Contact to Samsung NX, or to know who you can contact for such an adapter.

    • Arkady Shapoval

I just found an ad at a local flea market, made by our craftsmen. The adapter was taken under Jupiter-12 and Jupiter-3 which many praise.

      • Go! Blin

        Thanks for the reply.
I found a similar adapter for NEX on OLX, the man made it himself. But he said that Samsung NX would not be able to redo it, since the working segment of the Samsung is more than that of Sony.

      • Mikola Fedorovich

With this adapter all lenses. except Jupiter12 work well. U Jupiter12 Rear vertex focal length: 7,53 mm. Without dancing with tambourines on the NEX it will not work. I don’t know about Sony a7.

        • anonym

NEX and A7 have exactly the same mounts.

        • Arkady Shapoval

A little higher, I already wrote that the Yu-12 is working fine, the a7 matrix and the Sony aXNUMX shutter do not catch (although, when installed, the matrix is pretty scary).

  • Andrei

Arkady, hello! Maybe not entirely on the topic, but the question is: how does the a7's picture behave in the viewfinder under very poor lighting (for example, a room of 20 squares, a 100-watt lamp)? Precisely in the context of using manual optics, is it comfortable to catch focus? Well, or so - the more comfortable, ff DSLR or evi? It is clear that the question is extremely subjective, but it is very interesting to hear your opinion.

    • Arkady Shapoval

Question JVI or EVI requires a dozen pages of answer.

      • Andrei

Well then, can you briefly describe the worse / better? Did not think to write material on this topic, where will your thoughts be on this subject? I think this issue will be interesting not only to me.

    • Sergei

They did not ask me, but I will answer. In poor light, I personally did not really like focusing with manual lenses with EVF on the A7. In low light, picking is practically useless - you need to catch sharpness visually. And if you close the diaphragm a little, then it's very difficult. The difficulty lies in the lack of confidence that you are in focus - you need to snatch a bad picture from a very bad one. True, I must say what happened, with all the inconveniences, 80% of hits. These are my personal observations from shooting in a dark room. The light came only from behind my back (door to the illuminated corridor). When a light bulb in a room is on, even if it is 100 W., then not everything is so bad. In any case, we can say that the A7 is simply made for manual optics.

  • Dmitriy

I have been looking closely at this camera for a long time. I don’t need a full frame for work, and for myself I shoot it on film, but I bribed a little weight and the ability to carry it with me on a motorcycle with Soviet lenses, which are not a pity to break or lose. And they do not take up much space. But the second version came out (the one with the stabilizer). After a month and a half I have an anniversary, I think to make a gift for myself. Here are the impressions of the camera of a real user.
