According provided by Flash Yongnuo Digital Speedlite YN560-III for Nikon huge thanks to Pavel Gridnev.
The YN560-III flash is a modified version Yongnuo Digital Speedlite YN560-II, the main difference of which is the added radio control function. The YN560-III has a built-in radio receiver for remote flash ignition using Yongnuo Digital Wireless Controller FSK 2.4GHz radio transmitters RF-602TX and Yongnuo Digital Wireless Controller FSK 2.4GHz RF-603TX. During remote arson using one of the above transmitters, the power of the YN560-III is set manually in the menu of the flash itself.
To use the radio control flash function, you need to use the button with the lightning icon to select the mode with the flash icon and the inscription RX, which means that the flash will work as a Yongnuo RX receiver. After that, you need to set the channel, which should correspond to the channel on the 602 / 603TX transmitter. In RX mode, the flash can be made to operate in strobe mode at a selected pulse rate and power. There is also the “- -” mode, the function of which I could not define. In RX mode, a red diode flashes in front of the flash to indicate that the flash is in remote control mode. For the correct operation of the flash in RX mode, you need to select the desired transmitter in the flash menu, the 'RF 60' function is responsible for this, which can take values '2' or '3' depending on the transmitter. To access the menu, press the two left control buttons simultaneously.
In all other respects, the flash repeats its predecessor completely YN560-II
Such a flash is quite inexpensive:

Yongnuo Digital Speedlite YN560-III is a simple manual flash, suitable for all Nikon, Olympus, Canon and Pentax cameras. Well-built with simple menus and useful sync modes S1, S2 using a light trap. A distinctive feature of the flash is its built-in radio receiver for remote control. Otherwise, the flash is similar to the previous version - YN560-II.

Po povodu sborki, po svoemu opitu skazhu, cto ne ahti. Pervaya, 565EX pod nikon, otsluzhila 8 mesiacev i pomerla.
Vtoraya - 568. Poka rabotaet, NO! otlamalas melkaya chast ot krishki akkumuliatorov. Zamatyvayu rezinkoi, ibo nekontachit. Beda ne v samom plastike, av tom, cto inzenery sdelali ego slishkom melkim, vot i poletel. Nado budet perestavit s 565 :)
Battery covers are sold separately. For example, you can look here: http://strobius-shop.com.ua/category/power-accessory/
Spasibo. Ya prosto opisal, cto sborka v celom ne ahti kakaya. Kstati na odnoi iz foto obzora viden otrytyi otsek i vidny “kriuchki”, kotorie i slomalis. Etomu pomogli moi pacany :), no, kak primer, v SUNPAK PZ42X, krishka ne imeet takih slabih mest.
What you are talking about is more about the construct, not the assembly).
I think you need to decide whether you want to check or go. I mean, when buying a flash for $ 100, you need to be aware that it is full of "surprises." And it’s good that this cover can be replaced. My YN 460 II frayed the wire inside the head of the puff, this is really an ambush. I tried to fix it, so I burned all the puff to hell. I forgot to destroy the capacitor)).
It would be funny if the kit included a spare cover :) Actually, if the battery compartment covers are on sale, then only the worst can be thought about the quality of the flashes themselves :)
Spare parts for Nikon flashes are also sold, so parity is here. As the saying goes, bullshit happens.
Yes, a spare cap would be in the subject.
> There is also the “- -” mode, the function of which I could not define.
This is a remote signal power control mode. Apparently, there will be a certain upgrade for the RF-602 and RF-603 transmitter, which will be compatible with them in the radio part, but will allow not only setting 560 III power, but also setting it for each group (you can also flash the group select while this function also does not work).
The synchronizer channel is knocked out in the menu, it should be set similarly to the jumpers on the transmitter, but this seems to be so obvious.
By the way, the Chinese, it costs about $ 70 with delivery.
Novel, there will be a flash with a complete lack of guarantees. You are not going to send her back to China if something happens?
Well, not complete. Whales usually give a year, but with delivery to China at your expense (~ $ 15, as I read). Hemorrhoids - yes, absence - no.
The wireless controller Yongnuo YN560 - TX has already been released, it allows you to remotely control the power and zoom of the flash, supports up to 6 groups.
As for the assembly, I, as a user of this device, I can say that everything is assembled perfectly. I’ve been using this flash for 9 months, and I’m using it very, very actively, and nothing has blown out. The case is strong and reliable. Works like a pedal horse. The only drawback is that when it is hot under the sun, it overheats (with active shooting) and refuses to work (for about a minute). Otherwise, $ 100 for this flash is minuscule, and it gives more. I had the Nikonovskaya SB-700, but I like this Yongnou better) I advise those who take off hands in the manual.
There was also a problem with the battery cover. I decided it by transplanting metal hooks on the lid instead of broken plastic ones.
Arkady, I dare to make a comment: in my opinion, in the reviews it would be worth differentiating between system outbreaks and manual ones, in terms of the requirements imposed on them. All the same, as it seems to me at the moment, manual flashes are intended exclusively for work outside the cameras - on racks. System systems have become more than affordable. May Heaven prolong the days of Chinese manufacturers)).
We can do without it, many still use manual flashes (including myself) with complete success on their camera.
Good day! Please tell me how to start the flash in strobe mode? is it possible with a light trap? Canon camera.
if your flash supports strobe mode and your camera can issue such control, then easily through the flash and camera menus.
Hello! Arkady, please tell me how to set up this flash so that there are no sharp shadows from the object, mainly indoors. I have Nikon 300. I will be very grateful.
Direct it to the ceiling, or to the wall (if white).
it turns out even worse (((
Indeed, the Chinese, it costs $ 70 approximately with delivery. I bought this a few months ago very satisfied. Nothing falls off, does not break. For the money, this is a great product.
bought last week YN-560-II for $ 40 very satisfied soundly made =)
plans to buy one more ;-)
Can anyone tell me if this flash will work with the canon 650d, which has a built-in transmitter for this? Or is an additional transmitter needed?
There is no transmitter on the camera !!!
There is a built-in flash function that can control a light pulse (of a certain frequency)
external flashes ...
Will be. Both on camera and remotely. It will be remotely controlled by light pulses from the built-in flash in manual modes S1 and S2. For radio control, you will need a radio synchronizer to the camera (indicated in the review), if others, then also to the flash.
In general, the review describes everything in detail.
Tell me, please, at what angle can the built-in flash ignite this flash? how much can it be turned away from the camera?
if it is 90 degrees, can it be set on fire?
thank you
I was set on fire. But probably a lot depends on the distance and the intensity of external lighting (they interact better in the room than on the street on a sunny day). In general, the 500th series of Engs have good light traps.
Please tell me how to configure the flash. In stock SB 910, radio synchronizer 603, 2 flashes of YN 560 III. task to synchronize the flashes So that you can periodically turn off one of the slaves. SB 910 is on camera. Unfortunately, on Sat 910 there was no instruction, and on 560 in English These are my first flashes, a complete beginner. I don’t understand how it is possible to control the 910 through the camera menu or flash 560. need a detailed answer Thank you!
SB-910 and YN-560 are completely different puffs, respectively, they cannot manage between themselves. And you can connect it all according to the following scheme: camera, on top of RF-603 - SB-910. Next, go to the racks. On one we attach RF-603 - YN-560, on the second - just YN-560. The second should be set to Slave1 mode. In such a chain, everything will work without any jambs. If you have one RF-603, then you will play in the puff settings. You can do without sync, then one of the puffs (on the camera) will always be in operation.
How painfully sophisticated ..
Why put a synchronizer on the 560 III, if it is already there?
Another question: will the 910th work on the camera through the 603rd draft? I have not tried it myself, but I doubt it very much.
And in general, why interfere with different types of synchronization? You can limit yourself to optical, if, of course, everyone “sees” each other. And you, Tatyana, need to formulate the question more correctly, and in particular, I would like to know the model of the camera and whether it is assumed when shooting the presence of light-impenetrable barriers between flashes.
And the “absolute difference” between SB-910 and YN-560 in the extreme is that one of them is Nikon and system (top-end), and the second is Yongnuo and manual (and not bad). In connection with the above, they will synchronize with each other and with the camera for a sweet soul, and at least in three ways I know.
Will there be problems with the nikon d3100? Do I need to buy something extra?
There will be no problem with any hot shoe camera that has a center contact.
Only if you intend to use such a flash exclusively on the camera, then it is better to buy the YN-560 II - it is cheaper.
Good afternoon Arkady!
What kind of system flash can you recommend on Fuji X-A1, so that the guide number is 48-50
Good day! Please tell me, for Nikon 3100 (not for professional use) which flash is better: YN560-III or YN468-II?
not for prof. - depending on what you need. if you know how to handle the donut in manual mode (and if it is the first, then in the camera you can use the “M” mode without any problems) then definitely 560 series. If not, then take TTL.
Your 5kop. - flash is good for the money. I use the 2nd month, both on the camera and on third-party holders. The power is enough "for the eyes", the build quality is 5.
working capacity - by 5.
Please tell me if this flash will work with the transmitter Yongnuo Digital Wireless Controller FSK 2.4GHz RF-600TX?
Please tell me if the YongNuo Speedlite YN-560 III Flash fits Nikon5100?
Yes
hi everyone, does this flash have a high-speed mode ?, which will allow 1/4000 shooting or only multi ???
No
Why multi mode? what is he doing
Difficulty switching to M mode after S is just mine?
one seller claims there is autofocus highlighting
Is it so?
The flash is good, especially for the money. Very powerful, on 1-ke I do not use at all, models are blinded)
