According provided by lens Nikon Nikkor-SC Auto 1: 1.4 f = 50mm (AI-Converted version) many thanks to Oleg, and for the original (not converted lens) many thanks to the store www.fotika.com.ua.
Nikon Nikkor-SC Auto 1: 1.4 f = 50mm is Non-ai the lens and without its alteration (AI-conversion) there will be problems when trying to install it on certain CZK Nikon, information on this subject can be found in the section Pre-ai.
The first lens that I visited in the review was already redone for the AI type, and I used it on cameras without any problems Nikon D700Nikon AF N8008s и Nikon D80... The second one - without conversion, I could use it only on Nikon D40 (this camera does not have a rheostat ring, and the end position lever can be “hidden”). Nikkor-SC 1.4 / 50 is a manual lens without microprocessor contacts, and therefore it can be difficult when working on certain Nikon cameras, first of all, the difficulties relate to metering exposure and focusing convenience. How to work with such lenses on any Nikon digital signal center is described in detail in the section 'Using older lenses on Nikon cameras'.

Fifty fifty Nikon class 50 / 1.4 have a huge history. The Nikon Nikkor-SC Auto 1 version: 1.4 f = 50mm (from this review) was produced from about 1973 to 1974 and is a modification Nikon Nikkor-S Auto 1: 1.4 f = 50mm with the addition of a special multi-coating called 'NIC' - Nikon Integrated Coating. Actually, the letter 'C'means'Coating 'is enlightenment, and the letter'S'means'Septem '- seven lenses in the optical design of the objective.
In short, try to describe the story fifty fifty / 50, you’ll get something like this line:
Nikkor-S in several modifications -> Nikkor-SC -> Nikon K MKI -> Nikon K MKII -> Nikon AI in several modifications-> Nikon AI-S in several modifications -> Nikon AF MKI, MKII, AF D MKIII -> Nikon AF-S. Modifications usually differ in the place where the inscription is made 'Made in Japan' or 'Lens Made in Japan' or 'Made in China', as well as the number of screws that secure the rear of the lens. The very first lenses before the 1970s were named 'Nippon Kogaku Japan Nikkor-S Auto 1: 1.4 f = 50mm'.
In Radozhiv you can still find an interesting article about all modifications of fifty Nikon autofocus.
It's a shame that Nikon's official website in the 'Product Archive' section has no clear information about the line of old lenses. Based on third-party sources, it can be determined that Nikon Nikkor-SC Auto 1: 1.4 f = 50mm has an optical scheme of 7 elements in 5 groups, while the same scheme, with some refinement, was used in subsequent Nikon 50mm 1: 1.4 lenses AI, AI-S and even Nikon 50mm 1: 1.4 AF (in all three versions MKI, MKII, 'D' MKIII).
The lens can be used on FX and DX cameras. On Nikon DX cameras EGF will be 75 mm, which is good for portrait photography.
As for the Nikon Nikkor-SC Auto 1: 1.4 f = 50mm itself, it is very well assembled, with a beautiful chrome insert between the aperture control ring and the focusing ring. The focusing ring rotates a little less than 180 degrees. MDF is 60 cm, while the lens has marks for focusing distance in meters and feet, depth of field scale, mark for shooting in the infrared spectrum. The F numbers and DOF lines have different colors and correspond to each other, which is typical for older Nikkor lenses. The diaphragm has 7 blades, which affects the 'nuts' in the out-of-focus area. The thread for light filters is the usual 52 mm.
'Auto' lettering means only the presence of automatic iris control (the so-called 'jump rope'). You can always aim at full f / 1.4 aperture, and when the shutter is released, the camera will automatically close the aperture to the value set using the aperture control ring. After releasing the shutter, the camera will reopen it to f / 1.4.
The lens has a pronounced coating of its lenses, but this will not protect it from hares and glare in the backlight. The sample from my review lacks sharpness for comfortable shooting at F / 1.4, but at F / 2.8 the lens already becomes very sharp. In general, Nikkor-SC creates a pleasant drawing, good contrast and can be used for any leisurely creative shooting.

Conclusions
Nikon Nikkor-SC Auto 1: 1.4 f = 50mm - standard fix huge lens aperture and nice image quality. Like its previous version Nikkor-S, the lens creates a soft image on the F / 1.4-F / 2.0 apertures, is afraid of backlight, but this same drawback can be turned into a plus, using in a number of artistic designs.

Hello! Tell me someone, is it possible to use such a lens with nikon d90?
Of course it is possible. doubt is not clear
No you can not.
https://radojuva.com/2012/06/nikon-ai-s-old-lens-about/
In the sense it is impossible. For any discrepancy in the mount, you can choose an adapter. And if autofocus doesn’t work, so who would he give up in the portrait lens?
On the question it is clear that they have not encountered before. Putting it on camera is just a small step. Further, all work with him will be based on knowledge and hands. Why do you even want to take it, and not, for example, the autofocus Nikkor 50mm 1.4D, which has the same optical scheme, but more modern enlightenment, electronics (communication with the camera + determination of the exposure by the device, not by hand) and automatic focusing? With it, if necessary, you can play manually. And one more thing: if you think that 1.4 is the main advantage of these lenses, you will be disappointed. Among modern Nikon fifty dollars, these on the 1.4-2 range give not the most interesting picture. But with 2,5-2,8 the result is very good, and the class is already obvious.
Gorgeous on d90 sat down and due to laser metering, you can easily focus
adapter for micro 4: 3 do not tell me?
I will tell you - this.
bought such a child, learning photos on nikon d2H, normal flight
Arkady, it seems the error page.

Nikon 50mm 1: 1.4 AF Nikkor (MKI)
Nikon 50mm 1: 1.4D AF Nikkor (MKIII)
from this list, only the first 3 pieces have such an optical scheme, and the remaining 7 elements in 6 groups.
Fifty as a fifty. The pictures are nothing outstanding. As for me for the money that they ask for it, it is better to buy 5 / 1,4d or with a small surcharge g.
And for the soul, creativity, etc. I don’t see anything interesting from Nikon, except for 5 / 1,2.
Throw examples at 1.2) if possible
there are also 1.4 of their old stocks. And I like Helios 81H much more ...
1.2 interested (not really monitor the line, etc.)
The site has a review
I’m quite a good fifty dollars, sometimes I rent on such a canon.
