This time I have a lens with the rare name 'Miida' on my review. For many, what 'Miida', what 'NoName' sounds the same. But in fact, the lens turned out to be quite suitable for use.
Miida 135mm F2,8 on the CZK
Miida 135mm F2.8 - classic 135mm fast fix tele lens. You can find the mark 'Lens made in japan'. The lens has an M42 seating thread and an automatic 'Automatic' blinking diaphragm with a dedicated aperture control switch to manual mode.
How to use with modern cameras?
Lenses with mounting thread M42 (M42 X 1 / 45.5), such as the lens from this review, are very easy to use on almost any modern digital camera (both SLR and mirrorless), for this it is enough to choose the right adapter (adapter). You do not need to carry out any additional steps to modify the lens.
The cheapest adapters can be found at Aliexpress.com... There are adapters (adapters) with a chip that provide more convenience during shooting, usually chips are used to confirm focus and / or metering exposure, and form the correct EXIF. The chip does not affect the image quality in any way.
For some SLR cameras (for example, with the Nikon F-mount), you need to use adapters with a corrective lens, which allows you to focus correctly at all focusing distances. For any mirrorless cameras, such a lens is not needed, and the adapter is a simple decorated hollow metal tube with an appropriate mount.
For SLR cameras
- Canon: For cameras Canon EOS with bayonet mount EF / EF-S need an M42-Canon EOS adapter, such an adapter with a chip can be found herewithout chip here.

Enlightenment Miida 135mm F2.8 Lens
The focusing ring is rubberized and very convenient to use, rotates 270 degrees. MDF is 1.5 meters. The front lens does not rotate when focusing. The body has all the necessary indicators for working with the lens. The lens has 8 matte black aperture blades. The lens has built-in hood, which is absolutely not fixed in any position. The hood constantly spontaneously moves to its extreme positions, accompanying this procedure with a knock on the lens barrel. Such a defect is very annoying: tilted the lens down - the hood 'dropped out', raised the lens a little up - the hood 'hidden'.

Oddly enough, but the lens turned out to be sharp, and contrast, and even the bokeh is pleasant. The only serious drawback in image quality obtained with the Miida 135mm F2.8 is the strong HA, in particular, frigging (the color of the out-of-focus areas in green and purple) and blooming (purple 'lumbago' on contrasting details).
Personal impressions
The lens reminds me very much of its image Pentacon auto 2.8 / 135 MC. I think in the secondary market such a Miida 135mm F2.8 should be inexpensive and it can be used as a good lens.

It is very similar to Jupiter 37a, only the aperture is higher, and the picture is similar.
At 37a, the bokeh is softer and XA less than + 27a sharper by an order of magnitude :)

The Miida trademark belonged to the Japanese export company Marubeni Corporation, lenses for this brand were ordered mainly from the "Stakhanov-multi-station" company Sun (if you see a lens with a hell of a word, with a probability of at least 50 percent it is Sun). But 135 / 2.8 were ordered from different manufacturers. I have Miida 135 / 2.8 lying around of a completely different look and terribly obscene quality - in the front gluing of the "snowflake" of crystallization of the glue, on the front surface of the same gluing there is leaching (glass cloudiness), in general, complete marriage.

I took Danubia auto 2.8 / 135 on the Bag for eight bucks with a shabby enlightenment. Eight bucks is undoubtedly worth it, although I had to dig deeper (the lenses dangled, the back one seemed to be upside down, although I’m not sure I couldn’t find the scheme). Most likely I will continue to shoot on Jupiter 37A, Tair-11 and mainly on Jupiter-9, which gives a much more juicy picture compared to all of the above, and it’s more convenient to focus with a fast aperture exactly an order of magnitude.
The built-in hood is really enraging, but you can order from China, since 55 mm is not the rarest format, then this drawback will go away. But in general, it’s just nice to have a rare beast in the collection, a qualitatively unique 135 mm fix is not considered.
