Hanimar Automatic 1: 2.8 f = 135mm review

Another unnamed 135-tka came to my review again. Nice body, great combination of 135mm and f / 2.8, manual aperture control - but is everything that good in practice? On the secondary market (at flea markets) you can find a million different old lenses of the 135 / 2,8 class, and you can find exactly the same lenses under a variety of names. Many users are looking for a 135, hoping there is a gem underneath the next 'Loud Name' lens. In fact, it is very difficult to find a particularly high quality lens among the 'No Name' optics. Basically, all lenses are like two peas are similar to each other. Shooting with the Hanimar Automatic 1: 2.8 f = 135mm, I was sure that the exact same lens I once had in my hands. Usually such 135-fibers are quite sharp, but strongly 'chromate' (suffer HA), have a good body and landing thread M42.

As for the Hanimar Automatic 1: 2.8 f = 135mm, the lens has a very smooth focusing ring that rotates 270 degrees. The focusing ring is rubberized. MDF is 1.5 meters. There is a switch for aperture control mode 'M - A'. The diaphragm consists of 6 matte black blades. Lens made in japan. I met Hanimar Automatic 1: 2.8 f = 135mm in different frame rims. Enlightenment of the lens is weak, the lens loses contrast in the side and back light.

Sample Photos

The lens is sharp, but not the same as, for example, Jupiter-37A. No-name lens Miida Automatic 1: 2.8 f = 135mm from my previous review turned out to be slightly better than Hanimar. How to Use Older M42 Lenses on Modern Nikon Cameras Read here, and on Canon here.

Conclusions

Hanimar Automatic 1: 2.8 f = 135mm is a budget 135-fabric with an M42 landing thread.

Thank you for attention. Arkady Shapoval.

Nice lens, I liked Pts, and the photos he took too, quite a pleasant and interesting picture, sharpness, as for me, he also has enough, well, in general, that's right - a simple budget Japanese lens!

By the way, recent reviews of Japanese optics have prompted me to put a rubber coating on the focus ring on my Jupiter-37A. Why not reward the pretty lens with a pretty new thing! :)
I’ll think up, do it, share it!

Sorry, of course, but I don’t understand why to put a rubber coating on top of the metal on Jupiter-37A, because everything fits into the arm perfectly. Explain if not difficult!

And to ensure that your fingers in the cold season, and even more so in the cold, do not freeze! Verified!

    Andrey, we are waiting)

one of the options is to use a special cambric, which shrinks under the influence of high temperature, I think that people who have come across this before have understood what I'm talking about. After you squeeze the focus ring with it, you can carefully make the corrugation with a knife, although I think that without corrugation it will be very good

  • Andrei

This is called shrink! sold in the radio parts store! you don’t put a relief on it, thin, and the glue doesn’t stick well to it!

I bach, schto article of ancient))
The one you can see, Arcadia, zrobiti clichable butt a photo (like in the "lucky" versions of your additions)?

ps / I often scribble on the markets of some specimens and ... often sellers ask for a price for the U-37, even after 2.8 diaphragms .. That .. why wart the skin of a beetle for three more than half a step of diaphragms, more vagu or less…? =))

    pps / loudly, sch-in is obvious ..
    (vrahoyuchi "formove" bokeh))

Before the speech, I’m joking about the need for koristuvannya іz ..x-converter.
(Schob is easier, in the meantime with the most common motor vehicles).

Photographs (!!!), what do you say? ..

      • Michael

What for? It has a small focal length, you can just as well look for 200mm (without a converter). Converters strongly spoil the image, and this copy is already soapy.
