Hello! Please tell me, on the d5200, instead of a whale lens, what do you advise to take? Need a wide-angle lens with a less beautiful picture. Pricing policy up to 40k. There is fifty dollars for portraits. Types of wedding filming. Thanks in advance!

Landscapes - 18-105 will do a good job, of course there are better and more expensive optics, but this one is quite versatile.
A full-length portrait - something like 35/2 (1.8) - look at prices and reviews, it could be Nikon, Yongnuo, or another brand, look at finance.
Macro - if you shoot a lot - check out the reviews of macro lenses. If you need it not often and / or a little, even Soviet fixed optics with macro rings does a good job. I personally like Jupiter-37a with macro rings - it gives a rather large distance to the object, and because of this, geometric distortion is very small. Focusing is difficult and of course you need a good, heavy tripod. Also used Helios-44-2 and Helios-81n.
Zoom lenses can also be used, but they have more distortion (geometric + chromatic) and lower resolution.

In general, each of your points is a separate article. And all the answers are here, on Radozhiv. You should go to the 'Articles' section and read

Hello! Happy New Year! I bought a used d5200, with low mileage, everything is ok, but there is one question that bothers me: in the viewfinder when focusing (M, A, S) I see the AF area frame and only one focus point, it’s not important to put in settings 9 or 11, or 21, or 39 focus points. And in the instructions in the figure there are 39 of them. Should I see them all 39 or one central ???. Is something wrong with the highlighting of the dots or is it the way it should be? When focusing in a car, a few are displayed, depending on the number of objects that fell into the viewfinder. The camera focuses, while clearly on all modes. Until I opened the instructions, there were no questions. Please consult.

That's right, this point, always except for the automatic mode, will be one, and depending on the number of focus points 9,11,39, where it can be located, the center point can be positioned (move arrows) left-right, up-down, in the viewfinder, for example, if nine points, then at 9 positions, if 39 then at 39, respectively. In the instructions, they simply draw peculiarly all positions simultaneously.

And in other cases, it seemed to me that there was a blur, or insufficient focus. What is better to choose in your opinion? D5200 or Canon 650D? Bought Nikon D5200 with kit lens (18-55, but no VR). I tried filming. Disappointed. Shake ... Perhaps the mode or focus settings were incorrectly selected (manual seemed even better than automatic)? Or is it the lack of a stabilizer in this lens?

Well, the stabilizer helps to some extent when shooting video, but if you are going to shoot with it, you need some kind of steadicom anyway. Or a tripod. Or rails. Well, or stabilization in the editor, if there is no desire to spend money on all this with such a mediocre result.

A good video costs a lot of money.

You can play with anyone, at least d5100 which is cheaper and better in color.
But you need to clearly understand that DSLRs are leaving the masses from the market.
If you want to get good pictures with minimal effort, then it is better to buy a mirrorless camera, there is powerful camera stabilization for you, and it is easier to set the exposure, and focus on the eyes, and there are no pops / smudges from the mirror, there is no muddy pentamirror, there are no problems with alignment lenses / carcasses.

For portraits and creative photos you need fast lenses that will allow you to get a shallow depth of field.

If you have a crop, then architecture usually needs something wider than 18-55. 18 is the kick and end of the range. The ideal option is 10-24, from ultra-wide to moderately wide, you can get closer and further away. At worst, 18-55 will do, of course, but that is.

For a full frame, respectively, 16-35, 17-40, 20-35 (as a budget option can be found).

I have not used the d90, I think that it is no better than the d5100 - the matrix is older. Although whether this will be noticeable to the eye of an inexperienced person is not a fact. So don't get too hung up on that. But the presence of a motor for autofocusing with non-motorized lenses will allow the use of cheaper “screwdriver” lenses, such as the AF50 / 1,8D or 85 / 1,8D. Well, that's if you start to get involved. You can meet with sellers - feel this and that.

Any camera can give color errors, anyway you need to notice this and edit it in the editors. You can take a lightweight amateur 5200. Hello. Thank you very much for the article and enlightenment. I would be grateful if you can help me figure out my question. I am choosing my first camera. I am a dentist, I need a DSLR for photo protocol: portrait photography and intraoral photography. In terms of the price range, I see what you can take with the d5200 at reasonable prices with a kit lens 18-55 mm 3,5-3,6 VR. Is it possible to complete my tasks with this kit? Precise focusing on an individual tooth is very important. I also understand that there will be not enough light, so I plan to start with a ring flash, something from youngnuo, and in the future, a bipolar one. And it would be nice to have a macro lens in the future. I would be grateful for budget options. And one more question: is it possible to shoot handheld from any macro, without additional fixation?

For "portrait photography" a whale lens will be enough, but precise focusing on individual teeth is a macrick + lighting. You can shoot macro handheld, you need a fairly fast shutter speed, and this is either an increase in ISO (not so-so option), or a flash.

What kind of specialist do you think the client will turn to - a competent one or quite the opposite? I have you except for the 2nd sentence did not understand anything. The lens is any “universal” zoom, at least 18-55, and a flash is required, but I won’t teach you what to do with it, contact the specialists, and train on cats, free matinees, until enlightenment. And then they will give you so much not in an hour, but in 5 minutes ... P.S. And why am I so kind to a troll?
