Lens MP RSFSR GLAVUCHTEHPROM Plant No. 6 F = 7,7cm

In fact, this is not a review of the lens, since there is nothing to see :). This strange instance of the MP RSFSR GLAVUCHTEHPROM Plant No. 6 F = 7,7cm is a lens from a filmoscope.

Here is the enlightenment of the front lens

Here is the enlightenment of the front lens

The lens came to me without an additional tube with a wormhole for focusing, because my lens does not have the ability to focus at all. Also, the lens has neither a threaded nor a bayonet mount and there is no aperture device. I connected MP RSFSR GLAVUCHTEHPROM Plant No. 6 F = 7,7cm using a macro ring for M42 optics. I connected the ring to the lens using adhesive tape (adhesive tape), and using the M42-Canon EOS adapter, I installed the lens on the camera Canon 350D.

The lens is easy to disassemble. In the middle of the tube are two lenses and a thin separator tube.

This is how the modified 'lens' looks on the camera.

Radojuva L lens :) I just did a wrap in order to hide the layers of adhesive tape between the macro ring and the lens.

Sample Photos

You can, of course, make fun of the photos a little and pass them off as'Masterpieces", "psychedelic' or 'vintage', but it's best not to do that.

Catalog modern brand lenses 'Zenitar' и 'Helios' can look at this link.

Conclusions:

When photographing, the lens does not give any high-quality image at all. Perhaps someone will like the bokeh of the lens and the intentionally low quality of the image, which may interest an unusual picture :).

And I’m ponra. Well chromatite, but at 50 / 1,4 chromatite on open.
The dog went well, and the sprouts are also good!

    • Arkady Shapoval

I liked the key. Chromatitis is very strong.

      • Georgy

The monocle key is somewhat reminiscent of a pattern.

        • Arkady Shapoval

Yes, it does. Just once I read the name of the lens, I was attacked by a 5-minute fit of laughter. “What are you shooting with? I shoot at "MP RSFSR GLAV UCH TEKH PROM Plant No. 6 F = 7,7cm"

            Zhzhote))))

I connected the lens to the Canon IXUS 1000HS soap dish from the MANTIS stereoscope ... the pictures were very high quality))

  • Levani

ololo :-) saw this, at a flea market for five rubles a bucket :-) :-)

    • Arkady Shapoval

Well, you need to buy Soviet lenses in buckets - according to the theory of probability, there will be one good copy in a bucket :)

  • Dmitriy

    Good time!
    The question is not the topic, I want to buy 2 fixes, 28 f / 1.8, and 85 f / 1.8, and so - is there any point in leaving 50 f / 1.8 ?????

    • Arkady Shapoval

Yes, let it be fifty dollars.

      • Dmitriy

I just think that 85 will completely replace it for me, and 50 I thought of selling it, since there is a buyer for it 50 1.8g

        • anonym

Thanks!!! All the same, let there be a set of 28, 50, 85)))

Radojuva L Lens :) You can patent;)

    • Michael

In general, you can create masterpieces with the help of a tin can. Once in my childhood I tried it (though I didn’t know the word “pinhole” then).

  • Igor

Arkady! Stop using drugs. Even the lungs. And sleep at night. And if you smoke, call, we'll laugh together. Wow ..., your division ...

    • Arkady Shapoval

      Good :)

  • Ayrat

For some reason, this time your experiment with non-camera lenses was hooked. A really interesting effect is obtained. It clings.

    And I liked the leaves.

    and I liked the name

    ))))

    • Arkady Shapoval

Well, for some reason, a homemade door peephole and on 1DX - only hardcore :)

  • nukemall

If you blacken the insides and ends of the lenses, such filmoscopic triplets are quite good. I can say that the "Triplet-5" 100 / 2.8 from the "Peleng" overhead projector is no worse than the notorious Meyer Trioplan, which is now in great fashion.
    About the alteration of "Triplet-5" 100 / 2.8 - http://nukemall.livejournal.com/51555.html
Examples of snapshots from it - http://fotki.yandex.ru/users/stratienkoi/album/189988/

    • Arkady Shapoval

Thanks for the link. You do not know what relative aperture this Glavuchtehprom has?

      • nukemall

If it has only two lenses (it is somehow not very clear written), then this is generally a lens according to the "Periscope" scheme, relative aperture f / 3. And if there are three lenses, then f / 2.8, at least most filmsoscopic triplets are like that.

        • Arkady Shapoval

Yes, exactly two - this can be seen in a disassembled state. Like a lens without gluing, but simple.

          • nukemall

Well, then this is a "periscope", the simplest lens that was shot at the dawn of photography. If you blacken the ends of the lenses, mate the insides and insert them into the case from Helios-44, you will get a fashionable “portrait soft-aplanat”, nowadays those who want the strange are buying for 300-500 dollars.

  • Igor

Wow ... ..And I really, really liked it ... very, very unusual and uncommon picture for today ... just the same very well fits the word "psychedelic" GLAVUCHTEHPROM Plant No. 6 ZE BEST !!!!!

  • Novel

    Arkady, you are a maniac)!
If it is interesting, do a pinhole camera test pliz
    Good luck!

  • Novel

I apologize if my comment above is considered offensive. In fact, I want to express my gratitude to the author that he does not get stuck in the mouth and praise the latest super developments of Nikon and other business offices, but is in search, as befits a creative person.

    • Arkady Shapoval

Everything is fine, everyone understood each other.

  • Victor

And I really liked the bokeh. I think it's perfect! =)

  • Igor

Arkady, the tenth photo is really cool. You can print in the most fashionable and glossy magazine. Super Respect !!!

  • Irina

    The lens is valid !!!

  • Paul

I have such a filmoscope, only after repair I can’t find it, as I find it, I’ll also try to make fun of it))

  • Igor

Pavel, when you find your filmoscope, please see its year of release ... (they say that somewhere in the 50s)))

  • Alexey

Now I twist this miracle in my hands and figure out how to add it)))

  • Michael

An interesting article turned out. Thanks to Arkady.

  • anonym

It’s interesting, and what pictures will be obtained on the lens from a movie projector ???)))

  • alexey_laa

I tried to install on my Lumix G3 the lens from the Etude 2C slide projector: https://twitter.com/alexey_laa/status/367696901434404865 Photos were “blurred”. The brighter the scene, the more “blurring”. I understand that this is due to the scattering of light in the lens, the scattered light creates a continuous illumination of the image.

  • Peter the Great

so projection glasses should be used backwards, the light goes back to front and not vice versa

    • Arkady Shapoval

For shooting, they are used in their normal position.
