Information post

On the Internet, I rarely manage to find good, suitable information regarding photographic equipment. Instead, you have to wander to Western sites where everything is written in a non-Russian way. On open spaces I want to highlight wonderful Dmitry Evtifeev's blogwhere you can find a bunch of useful and new information. Who has never been there - I advise you to look http://evtifeev.com/

There is an opinion. That Arkady was modest)))) Radozhiva is also such a resource. and for this to you, Arkady, many thanks !!!)

    • Arkady Shapoval

For example, I am not ready to do such basic research as Dmitry, because I like his idea.

  • Sergei

I think that Dmitry Evtifeev's blog is for more advanced users of photographic equipment (let's say "nerds"), and Radozhiva is for beginners and middle peasants IT is the most)) Here everything is exhaustively painted, so that you don't need to go far)

    • Arkady Shapoval

Those who are above 'average' have to read foreign writings - a mess :)

  • Lynx

The site is certainly interesting, a lot of interesting, although for a beginner there is too much incomprehensible, and the navigation leaves much to be desired, finding something quickly is difficult, much more a blog than a site for constant re-reading.
Here it’s still more soulful and comfortable, plus Nikonians will be bored there, one canon, canon, and canon. )))

    • Arkady Shapoval

It may seem strange, but all of the last 6 lens reviews (Triplet Triplet 2.8 / 78, MC Super Danubia Auto Zoom 35-200mm 1: 3.8-5.3 Macro, Industar-26m 1: 2.8 F = 5cm P, MP RSFSR GLAVUCHTEHPROM Plant No. 6 F = 7,7cm, Canon Zoom Lens EF 70-300mm 1: 4.5-5.6 DO (Diffractive Optics) IS USM, Pentacon 3.5 / 30) were made using a Canon camera :) This suggests.

      • Lynx

yes, yes, yes, we are already afraid that everything “will change Arkady's religion and hell!” ))
But dragging it is quite clear that many of the lenses are put on Nikon - only the head is in vain, a lomat, it is much easier and better to screw it to the canon and do not steam with infinity, or suffer from a lens adapter.
So to say, "picking up according to the situation."

        • Arkady Shapoval

For me, Nikon's brand is not a religion.

          • Lynx

Well, you can’t even joke. (((ook.

            • Arkady Shapoval

You can :) Just the further into the forest, the angrier the woodpeckers :)

  • Boris

I disagree with many in many ways! Regardless of the level of preparation of the Mister Reader, both bloggers are extremely useful and the Russian amateur photographer (even if he is a professional) needs POZAREZ! One is more scientific and tries to disassemble each property into "molecules"; the other is a perfect empiricist who tries every photographic thing “to the teeth” ... But who determined that a photographer should be an ignoramus, and a theoretician without hands ???? It is only the combination of knowledge of the foundations of science with their practical application that gives a real specialist, regardless of status: an amateur, a professional ... Curiosity was what distinguished the Soviet photographer from the modern one. To seriously engage in photography, then one had to be a bit of a physicist, and a decent chemist, and somewhere a mechanic, a turner, and an engineer ... To take a photograph, one had to be a scientist and a naturalist at the same time. Modern technology has made the brain of the owner of the camera lazy. This is sad! TO BE ABLE TO KNOW, AND AS POSSIBLE MORE !!!

    • Arkady Shapoval

      Yes exactly.

  • Arkady Shapoval

No, it doesn’t. In each review, technical information is provided with my explanations and explanations.

  • Michael

I absolutely agree with Arkady, a great resource. I have been reading Dmitry's blog for about a year. What is the fifty-kopeck test. And the tests of that very Helios. And what's the difference Kenon there, Nikon or Sonya with the Pentax? These are all the tools of the Photographer. Yes, with a capital letter. Now the cameras have reached almost extreme parameters and then there is only a “war” of technologies, so technical knowledge is needed. With a caveat, however, there are always professionals, creators who do not care what they hold in their hands, but this is not in advertising, for example. Here are the announced Sigma 18-35mm F1.8 DC HSM. I think it will not be superfluous to know what Arkady and Dmitry will say about him after working with him.

    • Novel

“Here is the announced Sigma 18-35mm F1.8 DC HSM”

Yeah, they announced it. But it will most likely cost like an airplane wing ...
As they say, the dream of any photographer is a 1-1000mm f / 0.95 lens weighing no more than 300 grams and costing $ 100 :)

      • Michael

It will not cost much more than the effort invested in its development and does not look like a dream. And I don’t dream about technology at all, it is either necessary or not. This is just another tool for the photographer to "twist in his hands".

  • Victor

I have been using this site for the past 7 months only. I learned a lot of everything new. What’s there, you drive the name of the lens in Yandex, it climbs out happily, if not the first then one of the first. I really like the site. Thank you for the work!

  • J-fx

    thanks, bookmarked

  • Denis

The blog gradually turned into a forum, “Add bright thoughts” changed to “Add comment”. Maybe that's better? It's very good that there is no imposing photo lessons (free at first).

    • Lynx

“It’s very good that there is no imposition of lessons from the photo (free at first).” (C)
everyone wants to eat, and usually there is nothing wrong with it, that a person is not just an altruist. This is even good - it means that most likely the author will not abandon all of his created suitability with the cry “but how did I hesitate to do everything for free, but they want something from me !!!”.
      ...
Most often, the question is not in the presence of certain things on the site (including advertising), but in their quantity and quality (in this sense, open advertising of stores, sites or “provided for the test by such a company”, which is much more honest and better than the notorious jeans).
If “advertisements for lessons from joyfulness” appear here (at the same quality level as most of the articles written here), I would be the first to rush to participate, but it's a long way to go ((.

    • Arkady Shapoval

I redesigned the button as many users do not immediately catch up with what it is. But the comments themselves still remained thoughts, for example “Thoughts: 22, on the topic: Information post”.

  • Andrei

    Happy Birthday!!!
Arkady! I wish you endless inspiration, creative success and joy in life)))

    • Arkady Shapoval

      Thank you.

  • Timur

Happy birthday dear Arkady! All the best! Secondly, the blog of comrade Evtifeev is a wonderful opportunity, without rummaging through physics textbooks, to understand the essence of the main directions in “camera building” and, accordingly, draw your own conclusions. I read it and seemed to have attended a lecture by a teacher at the institute, who easily and intelligibly explained complex material.

  • Vasil

I visit the People's Day, I want to be in a good mood, live in my strength, pragmatic until my worlds are drawn into reality. I buy good friends. Health, success in a special life.

  • Vadim

Congratulations, I wish you have a lot of time for creativity!

  • Yaroslav

I join in the congratulations :), creative successes to you and Radozhiva (since this is your child) and more lenses, less negativity, and also only peaceful flashes over your head

  • Sergei

Hello everyone! I have experience of communicating with both of you, and with you Arkady, and with Dmitry (so far only through soap). Very responsive and decent people. And I will definitely "throw" some funds for the project as soon as I am going to send glass for improvements to Dmitry. Success to you guys. Well done!)) Volgograd!

  • Victor

Thanks for Radozhiva! Congratulations, be healthy!

  • Victor

Happy Birthday! I wish you to be happy!

  • Anatoliy

I join in the congratulations! More and more creativity, moral pleasure, and cash rewards from work! Good luck !!!
