Good day. Guys, do you think it's not an expensive macro-asset for the k30, maybe a manual through adapters?

I don’t know if it’s a defect in the Pentax K30 camera or the lens, but for the second time in the last 3 years a situation has arisen when I get “black” images with an outwardly functioning camera. Increasing the exposure in manual mode to a few seconds allows you to get normal quality photos. In the workshop, where I last handed over the camera for repair, they said that the master had quit, and now there was no one to repair it. Maybe it's the lens, not the camera?

You can test the camera's operation without a lens by switching to M mode.

Have you accidentally changed the exposure compensation? Place it in neutral.

How long has it been since purchase? Usually starts within a year. A typical diaphragm drive defect. The diaphragm simply does not open. It is closed to the limit. Always. The core of the solenoid is made by the Chinese from an alloy that becomes magnetized over time. Plus, instead of Teflon, they used a rapidly aging plastic. All together, this leads to a jammed core and a blocked diaphragm. The network writes that the solenoid can be replaced by taking it from previous models released before the K-30 in Japan. Chinese - green; quality Japanese - white. But the problem is much worse - the Japanese solenoid is no longer made. At all. Moved all production to China. They released cameras with a marriage, and then realized that they had ruined the entire series, but the factory is no longer in Japan! Therefore, some authors suggest looking for old Pentaxes of this series, released before K-30, to repair new ones. The correct made in Japan solenoid can be found in all DSLR Pentax cases from *ist D to Kr. Although it is easier to send Pentax by the forest and immediately buy a normal brand that does not have such a feature.

This line: K-30, K-50, K-70, just like Pentax K-S1, Pentax K-S2, has a fatal defect in the green Chinese solenoid (diaphragm drive). After some time, a malfunction of the aperture control solenoid appears and as a result, very dark frames are obtained. The diaphragm just won't open. It is closed to the limit. Always. The core of the solenoid is made by the Chinese from an alloy that becomes magnetized over time. Plus, instead of Teflon, they used a rapidly aging plastic. I want to immediately clarify that in the Pentax K7 / K5 / K-5 II / K-3 / K-3 II / K-3 III line, a different diaphragm drive mechanism is already used - a stepper motor. Pentax is aware of this problem and continues to release a "surprise" amateur line. Japanese business classics of the 90s/early 00s.
Thoughtless savings on penny trifles, leading to damage to the company's image.
Film Minolts (several models up to expensive ones) of the 90/00s also have a disease associated with the failure of the diaphragm drive.

It is not necessary to break the old camera because of the solenoid, the Chinese one is completely treated and the camera will continue to serve normally

If there is the same matrix as on the d5100, then I wonder how it is with the color it’s still sucks with poisonous green like on the Nikon d5100 and the shades all go somewhere? To compare them head-on ... And so, given what class it is, the camera is very curious and clearly better in some ways than canon, and even more so nikon.
