Promotion from Radozhiva

The action is over. But the essence of the action was as follows: You just guess what the photos are taken below.

In the comments you need to write the following.

  1. Camera model
  2. Focal length of the lens (all photos were taken at the same value of the focal length)
  3. Aperture (all photos were taken with the same value of the number F)

Or just guess the lens model itself, but it's already damn difficult.

Who is the first to guess receives Mikar / s 4,5 / 55 с macro rings For a present. Shipment in Ukraine by New Mail at my expense. Participants from other countries cannot pick up the prize. Of course, Mikar / s 4,5 / 55 this is not a plasma TV, but Radozhiva is built on other principles.

Share the link to the actionmaybe someone will guess. I do not respond to comments in this article. Indicate your e-mail, on it I will contact the winner. Also, there will be a prize of viewers' (my) sympathies, this is also a lens for the best commentary, which will tell not about the parameters, but about the picture itself, which the lens gives, maybe something else interesting :)

The promotion was completed at 16.00 Kyiv time on 28.08.2012. Promotion results:

The results are mixed. Grand Prize Package Mikar / s 4,5 / 55 с macro rings already on his way to Donetsk to the winner Egor Moshchenko, who guessed the lens without prompting. But, due to the fact that Radozhiva “hung up” and “turned on” the section with the last gallery on the title pages, users became available EXIF snapshots from the review Emmitar / s. Therefore, the prize of audience sympathy remains with Radozhiva.

Thank you all for your participation and torment in trying to make out the lens. Personally, it was very interesting for me to read and respond to your comments. This was the first and I hope not the last action from Radozhiva. Next time I will try to ensure a more stable operation of the site and a simpler task.

Help to the project. Thanks for attention. Arkady Shapoval.

  • Deimos

I would venture to suggest that this is I96U. My assumption is mainly based on logic since you were preparing a review on this door peephole but have not yet posted it. And even most of the photo was shot in macro and this lens shoots macro well (as far as I know)

    • Arkady Shapoval

There will be a review of I96U, but it's not him.

  • Vlad

    Nikon D40, PENTACON auto 1.8 / 50, f2,0

    • Arkady Shapoval

      No, not him, longer telephoto.

  • Vladimir

When will you open the cards? ))) can’t wait to find out already)

    • Deimos

      I join =)

    • Arkady Shapoval

      Tonight.

  • Oleg

    My findings:
The lens is fast, F2-3, telephoto. judging by the circles in the bokeh, the condition of the lenses is 3. It is unlikely that anyone would hold a battered lens of a large circulation. This is not Arsat, since they soap on an open diaphragm (and it is open!). Cutting. I am sure that it is manual - you can see errors in focusing and exposure (not a reproach, I know that this is not easy). There is a focusing option. For some reason, it seems that it is imported, from a project somewhere in the 80s - it weakly holds the side light. Dust on the lenses, not on the matrix, the diaphragm is open. Alternatively - Pentacon auto 2.8 135 MC on Nikon D200.

    • Oleg

      Or Jupiter 37A

      • Arkady Shapoval

        No, not Jupiter-37A.

    • Arkady Shapoval

      not the Pentacon

    • Arkady Shapoval

      It is not 135mm

  • Vladimir

I agree with Oleg. I think the idea of our virtuoso is to pull all the maximum professional shooting options from the TV set.
(although in the morning he thought it was Helios81 :))

    • Ivmulder

What is this helios ?! he twists the background, but here there is no such affect =)
Therefore, after all my ordeals, I agree with the thought that the lens is enlarged from some kind of photo, sharp throughout the field of the frame, and with it on an open hole. I found that the focal lengths of the enlargers were 50/80/135, but it was already said that they were not 50. The televisions seemed to have also rejected, so let it be 80 mm. If the logic with the enlarger is correct, then at 80 aperture should be 4, and at 135 5,6.

      • Arkady Shapoval

These are not Helios and Biotars.

  • Oleg

This is most likely not 135 mm, on the crop it is more than 200; 80mm on the crop - 120, that's it!

    • Arkady Shapoval

Yes, 80mm, here is the focal point that everyone is looking for :)

  • Vladimir

I called veg 12b 90 / 2,8 but it seems like they also rejected

    • Arkady Shapoval

      Not Vega.

  • Vladimir

    on crop it is 135

  • Oleg

    Arkady, at least hint transparently!

    • Arkady Shapoval

My site has frozen, and an unpublished review of this miracle has been updated, it has already been named in the comments, but this is unfair, because the saga continues.

  • Novel

Focal about 100 at the crop. Filmed like everything on the open, did not notice the distortions in the circles of the bokeh. None of the shots has a large field of focus, which means that the lens has no aperture at all, or it is broken. At the same time, the hole is at about 2.8 - the sharpness zone is not very large, but not extremely thin either.

I won’t be surprised if this is some kind of lens from the projector. Abundant circles in the bokeh gave me a triplet triple lens.

    • Arkady Shapoval

      Aperture is not 2.8.

  • Vladimir

    probably the ear dines)

    • Arkady Shapoval

Went away to take a new lens for review :)

  • PSTD

it seems to me that some kind of very simple set, because Arkady likes to say “no matter what to shoot,” I think that this is an old woman D40 with a whale 18-55))))) at focal 50

    • Arkady Shapoval

Bravo! This is really Nikon D40 :) it’s important how to take pictures :) I write this :)

  • Ilya

    Jupiter 9. With rings

    • Arkady Shapoval

      Not jupiter

  • Ilya

Both d300 and jupiter 9. Bokeh mugs are even. The diaphragm is multi-lobe. But there is a bit of bagels. As I have on Jupiter.)))) Exactly. At 2.8. And the rings.

    • Arkady Shapoval

      This is not Jupiter 9.

  • Petro

It seems that they have not yet offered the EUROPA-15H AF f2 MC. I don’t know what his picture and focal length is, but still I’m trying)
But still, if this is a zoom lens, I can assume that this is Nikon 24-120. F 5.6
    and nikon d80
and again the scuffs or dust that can be seen on the side are alarming me. You can also assume that this is Nikkor 50. 1.8 D
bokeh are a bit similar ...)
    also as an option I can introduce Nippon Kogaku Japan Zoom-Nikkor Auto 1: 3.5 f = 43mm-f = 86mm
    then there’s an open hole.
the dust comes out on the side.)
Yes, and I almost forgot. Campaign photographs are taken on a lens that does not exceed ~ 90-120mm. Because the bokeh of televisions will be more smooth and you will not see such circles in the bokeh.
I apologize for scribbling a lot)

    • Arkady Shapoval

Thanks for the information. Shot on a lens, a review of which is not yet on Radozhiva.

      • Petro

        hooray
all the same, I guessed at least the fact that he is not on Radozhiva)
Then I will lean towards Europe)
maybe with macro rings. cover the aperture to 2.8 so that the flower does not fall out from the DOF.

        • Petro

and they already wrote about the carcass that d40 ... alas)

        • Arkady Shapoval

This is not MS Europe-15N AF, although its review is being prepared and it will be something unusual on Radozhiv and in the whole internet photo.

          • Petro

I'll go eat, maybe it will overshadow me)
by the way. Happy holiday to all!)

  • Ivmulder

So now it remains only to call the aperture value? Is there a camera, is there a focal lens) or is it still a lens?

    • Arkady Shapoval

According to the terms of the promotion or 3 points or the name of the lens

      • Ivmulder

        1) D40
        2) 80mm
        3) 4.5

        • Arkady Shapoval

Yes, they are absolutely right, but, unfortunately, not the first.

          • Ivmulder

eh, damn it, but is the audience sympathy still valid, or is it already chosen?

  • Arkady Shapoval

That's why I left the continuation of the action. Sympathy is valid :)

  • Vladimir

    Granite-11N 80-200mm F4.5 MC is it! ???

    • Arkady Shapoval

No. Give 4 minutes, I will finish the review :)

  • Ivmulder

Then I’ll try again, the experience is not big, because Arkady don’t kick much =) The lens gives a soft, warm picture with non-intrusive bokeh rounds, the so-called Hollywood one, just the case when bokeh does not focus the viewer's attention, but rather serves as a secret tool photographer to focus the viewer's attention on the key subject of photography. As far as I can tell, the lens does not suffer from pronounced chromatic aberrations. 80 mm on the crop, there must be an amazing portraiture.

    • Arkady Shapoval

      Thanks for the analysis :)

  • Ivmulder

tautology, Arkady, please correct in the pre commentary the second “focusing the viewer's attention on” highlighting the key object of the photograph

  • alenfeeling

will the fight last until complete guessing?

    • Arkady Shapoval

already over, see the article after the photo.

  • PSTD

Arkady, I wonder how you would analyze these photos yourself if you were a participant in the action?

    • Arkady Shapoval

Determine focal on the eye. It can be seen that it’s not fifty dollars, but something longer. 70-135 per eye. Further, the aperture is clearly not 2.8, but a little darker. Well, then everyone knows that I have 4 cameras, it’s not difficult to select one of them. As for the lens (namely the model), everything is more complicated, you need to go out their HA and circles in the blur zone. Personally, I would not be able to cope with this task without prompts.

  • Oleg

Heh, well, you drove us by the nose with comments :)

  • Andrei

My preference is MS EUROPA-15N AF
very little familiar with this lens
Explanations: a fairly expensive lens at the time of release and quite rare, even now
as far as I remember, he has a focal length from 50 to 80, and he set a power of about 2x, which just suits these photos
