At F2.8, the sharpness is very good (which surprised) when shooting subjects closer than 2 meters. The lens delivers excellent sharpness at F8.0 on my cropped matrix. Strong HA I did not notice. Vignetting is weak. The most important thing is distortion, there is distortion on the DX camera, but not very large, as for a 20mm lens.
It is very convenient to work with the lens. It gives a really wide angle on DX cameras, and this is a huge rarity for Soviet optics. But still, I personally use the zoom Tamron 17-50mm F2.8 to achieve a wide angle on my cropped cameras. Using MS MIR-73N is very simple take pictures with hand at slow shutter speeds, it wasn’t a problem for me to shoot on shutter speed 1 / 20c.
